Dell 1526 won't start up - Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop

Go inti the BIOS settings and see if the BIOS detects the hard drive.
If not then re-seat the hard drive to make sure it is connected properly.
If the hard drive still isn't detected, then most likely the hard drive is faulty.
In this case to get the Dell operating again, replace the hard drive, install Windows on the new hard drive plus install the Dell Inspiron 1526 device drivers and your programs.

For your vidio card I would go to Del website for the latest driver.

Put the DVD with Vista on it in and reboot. Follow the promts on the screen.

Changing back to XP means you will have to download sound card drivers for XP. These drivers are availble on Dell's website.

Press Fn Key plus POWER key ans see if the diagnostics will start. If no go, then the system is likely in a No POST state.

and no paperwork is needed to get warranty support, all you need is the express service code on the bottom and be a authorized user of the system.

ya just purchase a bluetooth device it will come around rs120 and then install its cd and start using bluetooth device by connecting into anyone of usb port

This is a possible case of Motherboard fault..If the system is in warranty,check with Dell Tech support amd get it replaced.
