Is your dell laptop wifi direct capable?

WiFi is part of the wireless network card. There is a wifi button above the keyboard.
Here are the drivers if you need them. Choose the OS, download and run setup.

wifi doesn't work on my dell vostro with xp ?

you must have a wifi driver check it device manager goto start --> my computer -->right click then properties goto hardware tab check for your wifi driver is installed... find the yellow question mark... then try to install it...some wifi have a security you need to know the security code... ex. wep.. etc,.

may the antenna on that card your using is faulty and if not you can always use a range expander , or but another router n use it as range expander.
