Question about HP Compaq Presario V6000T Notebook
diconnect the power cable from the CPU and connect it to the monitor if the LEDs on the monitor light up if yes the power cable is working else the power cable needs replacement
now connect the power cable to the CPU and have a look to see behind the CPU to see if the main fan is rotating....if yes then the SMPS (power supply unit) is working fine
check to see if the power switch and/or the Reset button on the CPU cabinet is anyway stuck if stuck then a slight tap on the side of the cabinet may solve the problem
if still doesn't work then the electricity is reaching the motherboard and the problem is a lil more internal and you would need some professional help
hope it helped
