Problem for Amana NAV2330AW Top Load Washer

Very noisy and leaking

When ever my wife does a washing,the machine is very loud as if the agitator is off center causing the loud noise,also checked all the pipes and they are not leaking! Is it possible the drum is not on it's original seating and could this cause the leak?
We have a Amana nav2330aww.

Water pump may be leaking. Check idle pulley and big counterweight spring that stedies the drum. Go to www.appliancepartspros.com for a diagram. Have model number ready.
