The transmission holds 6 litres of transmission fluid. There is no drain plug unless it was added by someone else. You will need to remove the pan to remove the fluid. I suggest loosening one side more than the other to allow the fluid to exit on one side into a catch basin.

Note: when you drop the oil from the oil pan to check the oil filter.
I personally would replace it.
Also remember that when you fill the transition again that you wont have changed "ALL" the oil in the transition! There will still be quite a bit of the old oil still in the toque converter (fluid coupling) look for a drain plug in the toque converter, note that not many manufactures put drain plugs in toque converters.

How to drain transmition oil kia sedona 2002l

If it's an auto box, it cannot be drained without removing the pan from the bottom of the box or, much simpler, a clean polythene type tube, with a syringe, inserted into the gearbox filler tube, and draw some of the excess fluid out. If a manual box, there will be a level plug on the side of the box

Lookig to change tranny fluid on 71 t350. there is two drain plugs. does this mean there is two different oils for the clutch and the gears? if so where is the fill for the gearbox and how much does that...

hi, the transmition/ or gearbox as is more commonly known has but 1 drain plug. this will be located in the middle of the crankcase lower, undo the plug and alowe the oil to drain away into a container, the gearbox and clutch use the same oil as it is all 1 unit, the crankshaft, cylinders aand bearings however are all lubricated by the 2 stroke oil which i am sure you know,
when refilling the gearbox with the correct grade of oil, you will pour it carefully through the small filler in the clutch case close to the front footrest, also in the side of the case slightly below the filler you will see a 10mm screwhead bolt, you will need to remove this as it is the level screw, pour oil slowly into the filler untill the oil starts to come out of the level hole, allow some time for the oil to stop coming out of the hole, when it has finnished dripping, then replace the level screw and the job is complete.

Gear Box oil change How do i do it??

Trans fluid and primary fluid are the same oil , The drain plug is under the laft side primary cover. 1 qt of oil goes in the inspection cover on the top side of the primary cover. The oil drain is a hose under the left side by the frame rail. Look for a oil line with a plug. fill with approx 3 qts through the oil tank. Make sure you get the bike up to operating temp before dropping the fluid.
