Why do I get bleed through of print on pages I print out at bottom of page or shadow print on some?

Paper is too thin (use higher "pound" paper).
-or-
Toner is not of good quality (use HP Brand if possible)
-or-
Printer is set to dark or heavy in your page setup (change to normal or even light)

You can also make sure you are using an HP print driver instead of a generic print driver. Go to HP.com and search print driver for you model, download and install (if you don't already have an HP printer driver loaded on your PC).

7500 dt to print full-bleed

This printer is not capable of printing full bleed. You will have to print on oversized paper and trim it to get dull bleed.

How can I print full bleed on konica Minolta C451

Hi, unfortunatley you cannot print full bleed on any printer that uses toner. The way to do it is to print them on A4 Wide or A3 Wide paper and them trim them like you mentioned.

Words bleed when printing on vellum

my suggestion is, try printing in a laserjet. because in inkjet the ink will bleed or spread out because the ink is not yet dry. while if you use the laserjet, no bleeding of toners. because in laserjet they use powder.

I can't print full bleed from CS3 to a Phaser 7750DN

You didn't mention paper size, so my apologies if you are using a sheet that will accommodate bleeds and just didn't mention it. This is the simple answer.
If you printing on 8.5 x 11 paper, you can't get a full bleed. You'll need to print on a larger paper size, like tabloid, and trim your 8.5 x 11 size out of that. There are no printers, even commercial offset printers, that can bleed an 8.5 x 11 design on an 8.5 x 11 sheet. There must be trim in order to get the bleed. it 'bleeds' off the edges of the design.

feed the stock thru the Multi prupose tray. Set a custom size in the PDD to 5 mm larger diamension for W and H. this fools the machine to thing larger stock is being printed. feed your original stock. do not scale to fit....and presto, you can print to full bleed...

Printing bleeds

This machine, like almost every other laser based device on the market does not print bleeds.

The spec for the image masking at the edge is probably in the 3 to 4 mm range. When the sales person tells you that you can do "full bleed" what they are saying (even if they do not realize it) is that you can print an image larger than 11x17 onto a 12x18 sheet of paper and then trim the page back to 11x17 so that the final product bleeds over the edge.

Full bleed

sure, first you need to use 12x18 paper in the bypass tray. The using your application select to print 11x17. you then cut the paper to 11x17, thats the only way to print full bleed on this system.
