How low is to low with my blood pressure?

Mayo clinic says: Most doctors consider chronically low blood pressure too low only if it causes noticeable symptoms. (Such as dizziness, especially when first standing up). Some experts define low blood pressure as readings lower than 90 mm Hg systolic or 60 mm Hg diastolic - you need to have only one number in the low range for your blood pressure to be considered lower than normal. I hope this helps!

That paper coined a new term, "isolated diastolic hypotension," which refers to a low diastolic blood pressure (less than 60 mm Hg) and a normal systolic pressure (above 100 mm Hg). Blood pressure 132/52

That is a little low for a female, but not alarmingly so. In fact some doctors will only consider that a serious problem if there are other symptoms. Also, a spot reading does not say much by itself, it is more informative to have readings at different times over a period.

You should consult a doctor, who will check for anything more serious that may be there, and who can advise you whether to purchase a blood pressure meter you can use yourself. I have one, and it has been most helpful as it turned out I did have hypertension.

What is a low diastolic reading considered to be for an 88 year old person?

First age is not a factor.
60 mm Hg or less is generally considered low blood pressure
This is usually caused by congestive heart failure, and as far as increasing the pressure it would be a question for your Cardiologist.

What causes low blood pressure?

Conditions that can cause low blood pressure:

1. Dehydration. When your body loses more water than it takes in, it can cause weakness, dizziness and fatigue.
2. Endocrine problems. Thyroid conditions such as parathyroid disease, adrenal insufficiency (Addison's disease), low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) and, in some cases, diabetes can trigger low blood pressure.3. Lack of nutrients in your diet. A lack of the vitamins B-12 and folate can keep your body from producing enough red blood cells (anemia), causing low blood pressure.4. Heart problems. Some heart conditions that can lead to low blood pressure include extremely low heart rate (bradycardia), heart valve problems, heart attack and heart failure.
5.
Pregnancy. Because the circulatory system expands rapidly during pregnancy, blood pressure is likely to drop.

Is blood pressure 91 over 62 to low? i am a 63 year old man.

not really unless you suffer blackouts
when doing your own pressure checks , talk with a doctor first to get safe parameters , when to test, when to drink water ( hydrate) and what is considered high enough to seek medical aid
remember when getting advice about your health , you talk with a doctor , not to the world as there are many different opinions that could lead you to a false conclusion

WHAT WOULD BE CONSIDERED LOW BLOOD PRESSURE?IS IT NORMAL FOR MY TOP NUMBER TO CHANGE FROM 104 TO 129 IN ABOUT 5 MINUTES?

There are standard methods for measuring BP. One should be seated on chair, feet on ground, leaned back, relaxed for at least 5 minutes, at least 2 hrs after a meal, .... then repeating this procedure several times daily, and averaging will provide some ave daily BP value.
Using this procedure for hourly BP measures, one can adjust times and doses of BP medicines taken daily.
