Question about Washing Machines

Open Question

I have a Frigidaire Gallery Series washer (GLTF294OFEO). After doing a load of washing one night, I found the indicator lights on the next morning with the Start light flashing. I pressed the cancel/ pause button. It beeped and I noticed that the temp indicator light moved to another setting. I then found that pressing ANY of the other buttons, the temp setting would change. I unplugged the machine and plugged it in again. The letters ERR flashed twice and then indicated the estimated time for the cycle that it was set to. The start button was flashing but when pressed, again the temp indicator light moved to the next setting. I unplugged again , got the ERR code again, start light flashing but won't start . I pressed And held Option & Control button for 10 seconds but it didn't change anything. Pressing any of the buttons changes the temp setting. The door is closed as well as the dispenser door. ??????!

SOURCE: wash cycle stuck

You can attempt to unplug the washer for AT LEAST 30 minutes in an attempt to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). This is the main computer for the washer. Sometimes resetting it is all that is required to correct momentary program glitches. If the problem reoccurs following a CCU reset, then you have a legitimate problem. Let me know if you still experience problems. I hope this helps you.

Code e62 on frigidaire gallery series model GLTF2940FS2

Good Morning Friend,

I understand you are receiving an E62 code on your Frigidaire Gallery washer, model# GLTF2940FS2. The E62 code means that there is a communication problem between the different control boards in your appliance. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and start any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

My frontload gallery series washer will start cycle, but only continues to fill with water and drain. It did this all night but didn't go on to the next stage of the cycle...is it a bad control switch

Sounds like a problem with the main electronic control board in the control panel but the only way to know for sure is to do some electrical testing with a volt meter and the wiring diagram from the machine.

My moms front loader is a frigidaire gallery series. when she tries to start a load itll bring in a lil water and then just stop. don't understand why it is doing that

Turn off the machine then unplug it for at least 5 minutes and plug it back. Turn on the washer then press any button and wait for 5 seconds. Press and hold the START/PAUSE and CANCEL buttons simultaneously and the most recent error code will appear on the display as an "E" followed by two numbers, a number and a letter or two letters. The control will beep and the Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, and Final Spin indicator lights will flash. Post back the error code to determine the problem and necessary actions to be undertaken in order to address it.

I have a Frigidaire Gallery front load washer with E10 error code

When ours does that it is because of the hard water build up. We have to un-hook the hot water clean out the minerals and it stops doing it.
