    thsi blows.

  • busymomof4 Nov 04, 2007

My time didn't change either, looked in the manual and my phone is on auto update, so it should change on its' own.

  • doodyroot Nov 05, 2007

that did not work I turned it off and its still the same time

  • Anonymous Nov 06, 2007

the problem is, when i go to the initial set-up menu, there is no tab for time/date etc. my phone did eventually reset, but not until 10am my time.

  • Anonymous Nov 15, 2007

    folks, again, there is NO "date and time" option om my V3Cm. the initial setup menu has the following options;

    Speaker Phone

    Auto Redial

    Display Timeout

    Backlight

    TTY Setup

    Scroll

    Language

    Batter Save

    Brightness

    DTMF

    Hyphenation

    Master Reset

    Master Clear

i have been through all the options and cannot find a way to modify the time. is it hidden somewhere in here? please don't tell me to find the date and time option, i wouldn't be on an internet help page if it was that simple, i'd be in an institution.

    regards.

Go to settings, initial setup, time and date. change it to "off" on autoupdate. You'll get more options. You can change the date and time then.

Go to settings, initial setup, time and date, from there you should be able to set the time.
Pretty weak that it doesn't auto update though.

On a Motorola Razr V3 there is ** Time and Date option unless u take it to a service provider and tell them to add that option but to fix this daylight savings problem you should Turn your phone On and Off and it should update automatically

Setting the Time and Date
You must set the time and date to use the datebook. In some areas the network will update the time and date automatically.

Menu Key > Settings > Initial Setup > Time and Date

The Menu Key is the button above directional circle with the bold dash in the middle of it. There is no button above it. It is right below the screen.

HELLO MY CLOCK DID NOT DO AUTO DAYLIGHT TIME HOW DO I FIX THE TIME TO ADJUST TO ONE HOUR A HEAD THANK YOU INGER WELCH

All you need to do to advance your clock an hour for daylight savings time, is hold down your clock button without letting it go. Then press your hour button once and you should be all set.
Most clocks that are older than when they changed the date of daylight savings time will either not change it for you on the right day anymore. Or they don't have that feature in it.
If yours does have an automatic daylight savings feature...you may find it helpful to take it off "automatic" and just change it manually from now on. That's what I do with my VCR. It has an automatic daylight savings time feature, but it's useless now that they have changed the date when we set our clocks for DST.
Some manufacturers will give you instructions on how to change the feature settings so your product will again work correctly for you. But not all will or can. You can look it up at your manufacturers website to know for sure.
Good Luck...and I hope this helps you.

The clock changes for daylight savings time on the wrong day. it did this the past few times the time had changed. the date on the back of the unit is 2004. didn't they move the weekend of daylight savings...

Daylight Savings Time was extended in 2007.. (the Act was in 2004)..

So your clock worked fine for three years.. now.. if you can turn this automatic feature off I suggest you do and just set it manually... otherwise you will make the change.. and it will make it again for you!

Best of luck

Can not open programs since daylight saving tme has change. All programs were converted to something else. I cant get into to change daylight saving help!

Time change has no effect on programs working.
Try changing time in control panel Time&Date link?
Manually run the internet time updater?

What do programs look like they were converted into?
Different language? Check Language settings?
Hard Drive got corrupted? just a coincedence?

My clock went back one hour on Sunday 10/25, need to get it to move ahead one hour.

The clock program for Daylight savings Time is programmed for the old "third Sunday in October" changeover. The new changeover is the first Sunday in November. The program probably cannot be updated. If there is no button or setting to disable automatic change to Daylight Savings Time you can set the time manually and then change it manually to Daylight Savings on November 1 for the time to be correct.

I installed the Pioneer AVIC-F900BT and it has been

Windows CE is used to operate the Pioneer AVIC F series, which yours falls into. That version of Windows has not been patched or updated with the new day light savings times and since the player uses GPS to get the current time and Windows to make the time change for your zone then your time will not update until the orginal daylight savings time occurs. You can try to change the time to manual in the Pioneer settings, deal with the wrong time for just a lil bit longer until the original Daylight Savings Time takes place, or re-search an update and way to update the players OS which is Windows CE. Hope this helps :)

Turning daylight saving time OFF

If DST is *already* set to "on" when you reset the time zone to Z-07 (Hawaii), my very recent experience is that the time *still gets adjusted back* by one hour.  Now that daylight savings time is over (at least according to the clock's pre-programmed and outdated schedule) I'm hoping that setting the time zone to Z-07 (Hawaii) will completely cancel the automatic time changes from now on.  Otherwise, I need to purchase another clock, and it won't be a Timex.
