Question about Fisher and Paykel GWL11 Top Load Washer
Error occurs in spin cycle it does not start the spin it does drain the water
That error code lights along the top should be 00101011 (OFF OFF ON OFF ON OFF ON ON)
The OUT OF BALANCE (OOB) switch either has a fault or is not connected. Push the whole bowl towards the back right of the machine, listen carefully and you should hear a small click, then another small click when you release it.
If you DON\'T hear a click - look for a plastic lever hanging down behind the bowl at the back right. Sometimes they can flip over to the top and need bending back down into position. You will need to put your head right down into the machine to see the lever
If you DO hear a click - the switch maybe rusty and needs replacing. ......Unplug the machine and lift the lid and pull it straight up and it will lift off
Undo the two screws at the back of the machine and lift off the buttons panel. Unplug all the plugs on the brown control module (This may seem daunting but all plugs are different sizes and can only go back into where they came from) It is best to count every plug or tube you pull out and then you will know how many to put back on
Pull off the clear tube on the right and pull out the brown control module. The switch is on the right underneath and should have black and red wires going to it. Check the wires are connected, if they are get somebody to test the switch with a multimeter when you push the bowl backwards.
If it is faulty they can be purchased at any electronic shop such as Dick Smiths
IT IS MOST IMPORTANT TO PUSH THE CLEAR TUBE BACK ON WHEN YOU PUT IT BACK TOGETHER OTHERWISE THE MACHINE WILL OVERFLOW AND FLOOD YOUR LAUNDRY
That\'s the best I can suggest

Error Code 43 on Fisher & Paykel Intuitive Eco Model IW810AU is 'Out-Of-Balance' (OOB) switch fail.
The terminals or internal contacts are probably corroded.
It is a standard microswitch, with these specs: 100mA, 'Normally Closed' contacts.
If you can, get a waterproof one, and solder the wires to it, doing away with the plug(s).

I had the same problem, code 43 is an out of balance switch problem, i found mine was just sticky, if you pull it out (under the electronic control unit, under the top panel) you may be able to find out if its stuck or if it needs a new one, you could possibly find one from another model. hope this helps

You need to pull out the washer, TURN OFF THE WATER, then take the water hoses off the back of the washer. Check the screens inside the water inlets for debris. If that doesn't fix the problem you may need to ask fisher paykel if it's safe to put a chemical like limeaway in those holes to remove hard water deposits that have built up inside the valves.

Hi - this is a strange one - I could be wrong here but I think that theres two likely possibilities for you - first is the motor controller board could be faulty - it may have a short on the switch ic for the drain pump - the other is there maybe an air lock or blockage to the pressure tube - remove the display panel to access the clear tube - unclip it & blow into towards the bowl to see if theres a blockage.
You say as soon as the start switch is pushed the pump runs continously? or does it come on as soon as the power button is pushed? either way I think the controller maybe faulty - haven't come across aything like this one before...
