The volume control on this player cannot adjust. It is just on max. volume. Any thoughts??? Should I reformat the drive - would this help?

Probably the media player has something faulty..If it's new, send it back and claim another.
If not , remember how did this start..All of a sudden or did you accidentally drop it?

Why will my sweex clipz mp3 player not turn on?

Perhaps you thought you were hanging the battery, but the battery already died. So to won't give any power. Try to switch it on while charging and then unplug it. When it switches on, you know the switch is still working. When it dies as soon as you unplug it, your battery must be replaced. (or buy a new MP3 player)

I just got a 4GB Clipz, plugged it in, transferred music onto it from itunes on my mac, thought it was finished so stuck in the head phones. The computer said it was ejected and now no music will play and...

Hello.

You will have to reformat the mp3 player. To do this you first must turn it on, press the menu button, go down to settings, click on format, and say yes. After this, you will have the mp3 player restored to it's factory settings. Attempt to transfer the music again. To ensure it's finished, attempt to close ITunes. If ITunes comes up with an alert telling you it's still transfering, wait until you think it's finished and attempt to close it again. This will ensure ITunes has done it's transfer and all of the files are whole and complete.

Volume too low

Chances are there a limit on the volume to keep it from going to loud. If the MP3 has a screen, use it to navigate to a menu and go into it's sound settings. From there, you should be able to raise the max volume to the REAL max.

Not Mac compatible largely.

ALL Mp3 players have a disclaimer telling you not to play it at max volume. Get adjustable headphones to resolve problem

Problem with volume in player

Every mp3 player manual has a disclaimer that says not to play it at max volume - the only workaround is to get adjustable headphones, and keep player volume at less than max
