Require replacement face plate for clarion (honda 1996 civic) old one faded away. Its a clarion on the back of the facia but marked up on the front as Honda, the handbook say its the 'b' type. Can't get anymore info as its still in the dash and I don't know how to get it out.

Find your local car audio shop that sells clarion. Most car audio guys can tell you what you've got just by looking at it and be able to give you a replacement cost. Unless its a real high end unit, chances are you can replace it for roughly the same as the cost of a new faceplate. If you go to www.clarion.com you can find a local shop that sells it. Hope this helps

How do I replace the light bulb behind the heater selection knob

The panel in front (facia panel) should snap off. If not there are only a couple of screws holding it on. From there it is just a few screws away from replacement.

Replacing head gasket on 1995 honda civic, require torque specs and secquence

wow. a lot of bad information on this site. Refer to a manual for the proper torque sequence. The civic I believe is a two step torque procedure. First 22 ft lbs, than 53 ft lbs.
