Parental lock code

Most tv's can be reset when you unplug them. Unplug the tv and let it set for about 30 min and plug it back in. This should reset the code to factory default of 0000.

I have a mitsubishi WS-55315 parental lock is on.and i have no original remote is there a fix

You are going to have to have a Mitsubishi remote to do it--with that contact Mitsubishi and ask for the 4 digit code to enter to do the hard reset of the set--puts everything back to factory original when set was new.

Is there a master code to reset the Parental Restrictions. I locked it a while back and forgot the code

Hi,

Yes - the factory default password is 9999. This can still be used even after setting your own password. If you need any assistance with changing setting the parental lock settings, please let me know.

Parental code

To reset this condition usually requires a visit to the repair shop. To clear the parental control from the AKAI brand sets, you must enter the "Service" mode of the television. WARNING: There ARE adjustments in the service menu that CAN destroy your television if improperly adjusted.

This should not matter to you as long as you are simply reseting the parental lock function.

You must have the ORIGINAL FACTORY remote. (The one that came with the television when it was new.)

With the remote press the following one at a time in order:

MUTE - 1 - 8 - 2 - POWER.

Now you should be in the service menu where you should see RESET. Select reset and enter. Turn off TV.

Your done. When you turn your set back on, the code should be cleared.
