Question about Sharp AR-161 Laser Printer
Make sure you have the correct original size and paper size selected and the correct zoom, also the LHS of the window (as you look at the window standing at the front) is the top reference point, line up doc with that. here's the manual. http://olsonbros.com/sharp/specs/pdf/ib-ar160_161.pdf

L4-03 is a lock of the fusing motor. It's likely you need to have the fuser rebuilt. You can try resetting the error by turning off the main power switch (located behind the front door under a little plastic cover) and back on. It's likely the error will come back. There's a cleaning screen on the lower fuser roller which gets gummed up with toner and sticks to the lower fuser roller causing it to seize and the motor not to be able to turn causing the L4-03.

That code means you have a drum drive motor failure. The drum is the long, cylindrical green-blue tube you'll see when you open the left-side door.
Chances are some paper jammed up inside the drum process unit (that black frame that holds the drum) and it's keeping the drum from turning. Check the drum/process unit and make sure they are clear of any material that could cause a jam.
