You need to clean the heads! You can just use rubbing alcohol and Q-tips. Just be careful not to have it dripping. It is a good idea to also do the rollers and all moving parts while you are at it. If it has been a long time, do it twice.
If this does not do the trick, then you may need to buy or barrow a tape head demagnetizer. Follow the instructions on it (or google it, if they are missing), as we have all heard of the horror stories of people going overboard and messing things up.
If you have not used it in a while, it is possible that the belts have stretched. This can be an easy thing to do yourself if you are so inclined but most repair shops do this quick and cheap.

Check the following 1] belt[s] condition 2] capstan roller condition is the surface flat or oval (higher in the middle) 3)roller spring is the tension okay or low 4) cleanliness when was the last time the heads and capstan cleaned form oxides? 5) lubrication of phosphor bronze bushes remember the motor bushes too I use sewing machine oil as some general lubricants tend to become gooey and then the bushes bind onto the shafts.

My Logitech computer speakers are playing distorted sound. Also notice that the green power light is dim and wavering.

Could be the outlet, or the power strip if it is on one. would try a new outlet in a different room. return the speakers if this does not work.

No picture when on for approx 15 minutes

It sounds like you are saying the "video looks scrambled but the audio keeps playing OK"

Normally this is a Video Processor Problem that requires a Board to be replaced.

When the problem happens, can you see the TV menu or the TV's On Screen Display clearly.

I suggest checking to see if the problem happens with the video inputs like, Composite(yellow/red/black), component(RGB/yellow and black), HDMI and S-video. If it happens to all inputs then you need to replace a board.

Keyboard Jiberish

It could also be the logic board. Usually, there are weep / drainage holes in the bottom of the laptop. See if there's any traces of moisture there, and you'll know if it got wet or not.

Sounds like it could have been wet. You could try replacing the keyboard.

Error

You probably have a general protection error. Call microsoft's tech center. They can tell you what the code means and if you need to send in the console for repairs. Since they extended the warranty on the system, most repairs should be free.

Videos with sound is possible or you can record sound memos as well

Recording and Playing Sound Memos
You can record and play back sound memos for your photos while you view them on the LCD screen.
1. Turn the Mode dial to playback mode.
2. Press the MENU button. Playback Menu 1 is displayed.
3. Select Sound Memo by using the u d buttons, then press the r button.
4. Press the OK button and then start recording.
5. When you are finished recording, press the OK button. You can play or delete the sound memo or record
a new memo.
6. Press the MENU button twice to exit the menu.
When you play back a photo that includes a sound memo, the icon appears on the screen. Press the OK

Note:
You must have at least one photo saved to record a sound memo.
