This is just one source. I did a google search for USB wireless adapters. They are used by many users. Generally these units cost the same whether online or at the local Radio Shack, etc. because of shipping.

I recommend resetting the PRAM and the SMC first, if this fails then remove the airport card and re-insert it. Google instructions by the model of your mac
