SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: when i try to open

Hello.

Sounds like the file you are trying to open is corrupted. If you have a backup file, backup the current file for safekeeping and use a recent backup file.

When the program prompts, then creates a backup file for a database, it has a .bak suffix. However it also creates a folder in the 'Safe' folder under c:\program files\estimates. Locate the most recent version of the db files in the Safe, copy the folder to the c:\documents and settings\...\Invoices directory, and the most recent uncorrupted database should be available.

Hope this helps.

What does 'Unknown Server Error 500' mean?

This is caused by incorrect MIME handling by Windows when 'DBF Viewer 2000' is installed. The 'DBF Viewer 2000' program associates the .DBF file extension with 'application/DBF Viewer 2000' instead of 'application/octet-stream'. Remove 'DBF Viewer 2000' from the affected system. If you are still experiencing the issue I can suggest this program DBF Repair Toolbox https://www.repairtoolbox.com/dbfrepair.html

.fxp is not an object file

For additional information click the following link: https://www.fixtoolbox.com/dbffix.html
DBF Fix Toolbox
Also you can try to follow these steps:
1.Click on Start and then Control Panel. 2.Click on the Programs link.

Note: If you're viewing the Small icons or Large icons view of Control Panel, you won't see this link. Click on the Default Programs icon and then click on the Associate a file type or protocol with a program link. Then proceed to Step 4.
    3. Click on the Make a file type always open in a specific program link under the Default Programs heading
    4. In the Set Associations window, scroll down the list until you see the file extension that you want to change the default program for.
    5. Click on the file extension to highlight it, once you've found the one you're looking for.
    6. Click the Change program... button above the scroll bar.

The Open With dialog box should appear.
    7. Look through the options in the Recommended Programs area and choose the application that you want to open the file extension with when you double-click on the particular kind of file on your computer.

Note: Chances are, the applications listed under Recommended Programs will contain the most applicable programs for this file type but be sure to look at the applications under Other Programs. You may need to click the v to expand the list of these programs.

Note: Click Browse... to search through your computer for any program not listed that you'd like to use.
    8. Click the OK button on the Open With window. Windows 7 will refresh the list of file associations to show the new default program to open this type of file.

    9. Click the Close button at the bottom of the Set Associations window. You may also close the Control Panel window if it's still open.

    10. From this point forward, when you double-click on any file with this particular file extension, the program you associated it with in Step 7 will launch and load the particular file.

Important: Whatever program used to automatically open when these types of files were launched will still open these types of files. To use another program, you'll just need to start the program manually and then browse your computer for the particular file.

How to recover a database on known *.bak file?

Completely - in any way. If you find also tbk the file - then is possible. bak is
backup copy of the dbf file, tbk - a backup copy of fpt (there a memo of a field are).
However you were perhaps lucky, and actually fpt the file wasn't cleared.
And it is possible "to restore" of course simple renaming of bak file into dbf file. Of course then have to be reindexed the table, and if the structure changed, in general, to recreate the indexes from scratch. and perhaps "to treat"
the container Database dbc/dct (if you use it of course).
If so it doesn't turn out, then try to restore through DBF Viewer Tool. It well restores.

Come here on a forum and look at councils for this subject is there.

DBF file lost after OS reinstalled

Some helpful resources for you:

Non-commercial project, which can give you an alternative view to your issue:-

One more method, must be DBF Fix Toolbox - this is shareware software
You may download its demo: http://www.dbf.fixtoolbox.com/ - who knows, apparently it also can resolve the trouble.

Another fresh alternative way

The new database is useless. Drop it and its associated service.
Copy your files, all the database files (control file, redo logs, data, configuration files...) in the new hardisk, if possible at the same location (directories).
Then use oradim to create the service: oradim -new <sid> -startmode manual
Start the service if it is not already started.
Execute sqlplus "/ as sysdba" and try a startup.
If all files were copied in the same location, this should work.

We just upgraded to Windows 7 and we cant get our old invoice program to load. Its Proventure Invoices & Estimates version 1.0.0B . Can you help us?

Your accounting software may not be compatible with Windows 7. Check the manufacturer's website to see if it is or not.

You can also try the Windows 7 compatibility fix.

To do this, follow Microsoft's suggestions here.

New windows 7 not able to open files

It's not Windows 7 Problems, your files should open with a "proper installed" application.

I mean, you should use Microsoft Access (MS Office) to open several files like .DBF, .TBL etc.

If you have specific application to handle your Invoice System, you should install the application as well.

Have you had it installed in your new computer?

php is not a database file, it is a script file used to build active web pages. I use Perl to automatically convert dbf files to SQL Server, which would be the same syntax.
