Good Afternoon Billie, I understand that you are having trouble with your Crosley washer. I see that water is running into the washer and then draining out immediately. I will be more than happy to assist you. I would please like to have your model number, so I am able to better assist you. You can find the model number located on either the door or around the edges where the door meets your washer. Looking forward to hearing from you. WP

SOURCE: washer won't fill

On the drain valve there must be some dirt that does not let the valve close or the valve must be defective and needs to be replaced. By the way you did not mention the make of the washer.

SOURCE: Washer keeps draining

Sounds like you may have a siphoning problem. The following link explains:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r587481-prevent_washer_siphoning

Double check your installation and drain hose placement. You need to ensure you have an air gap to break the suction caused by the drain line. In the event that this is not a simple siphoning issue, please let me know if you require additional assistance. I hope this helps you.

Will not hold water ,when filling it just drains out

I just had this problem also. The reason I was having this problem was that I was letting the draining hose run into my bath tub to drain. Because of this the water was immediately draining out of the washer. So I had to hook the draining hose onto my bathroom sink to drain. By raising the hose higher, the washer filled up with water and worked just fine. Hope this helps.

Continues to fill, not holding water

The drain hose might be too low. Make sure the drain hose is at least three feet above the floor.

If the above adjustment doesn't produce positive results, replace the control.
