Usualy a problem with the LCD screen itself, that takes replacing the whole screen to fix. Sorry. Could also be an internal connector that has gone bad. There are tiny transistors on most displays that control whole rows and columns. It sounds like one went bad, causing a dead, or constant on, column. Unless you are REALLY handy, it will probably need to go to a service center for repair, which could be very expensive. Try flexing your screen - wrap a non-fibrous cloth around your hand and squeeze the screen lightly all around the edge. If you find a point where squeezing the screen makes things better or worse, explore that point further. Squeeze just hard enough to make a white area go light grey or yellow. It's safe to squeeze gently with something fluffy when the computer is turned-on. Could be a cable problem - either the cable is not making a good connection at one end, or the cable itself may have been crushed and one of the lines in it broken. Replacing the cable is far cheaper than replacing the display. Good luck

You need to calibrate the printer using the instructions located in the manual. This should be in area 5.2 of the manual. If you don't have the manual you can download them at this address along with software updates and firmware updates.
Hope this helps you.

I respectfully disagree.
A P-0300 will NOT be set in a Corolla by a dirty fuel filter.
Replacing the fuel filter could be a very costly operation, as I have observed that the fuel line threads that connect to the fuel filter easuily get damaged when removing the fuel filter.
In short, don't replace the filter until you are SURE that it is the culpit.
In this case, the fuel filter is NOT the culprit..
Save your money; and your time.
Additionally, premium fuel does not clean fuel injectors. That expense would be a waste of money. The engine will actually run WORSE on premium fuel; the engine is NOT designed to run on premium. 87 or 89 (better choice/89) is the grade to use.
If you really want to track down the P-0300 code, which is a multiple/random cylinder misfire, I would look at the quality of the fuel in the car; ie water in the gas. Second, I would remove the plugs and examine them closely. A worn center electrode will also set the P-0300 code, as will bad/weak plug wires (over 5 years old).
Please feel free to contact me back if you need further assistance. Thanks for choosing FixYa for assistance.

SOURCE: My 1996 dodge caravan is displaying fault code p4030 "exhaust gas recirculation control circuit" is preventing it from passing it's emissions test (Washington State). Is there anything I can take care
check the vacuum line going to the valve and the transducer, this is the black plastic rounnd thing between the egr valve and the intake, chances are the transducer is bad and can only be purchased along with the valve. if you have access to a vaccum gauge you can connect it to the line at the egr valve and raise the rpm to 2000rpm and see if it pulls vacuum, but you can probably count on buying a new valve assembly.
it will come with the tranducer which is probably allyou need. hope this helps.

56. (00111000) Phase 4 to 6 - Basket Check No Valid Fault
While carrying out a basket check, the machine has not been able to determine a
valid tub status and so the Display flags this fault. This fault differs from fault 40 in
that a valid tub status could not be determined. The first two areas to check are the
clutch and pressure tube. If these two appear correct, then the fault could be with
the pressure transducer in the motor controller.
Primary Source: Mechanical.
1) Check that there are no clothes or other foreign objects preventing the clutch
2) Next check that the pressure tube has not come off and that it is not kinked.
Secondary Source: Motor Controller module. (Phase 4) Rotor Position
Sensor (Phase 5 and 6)
Replace the Motor Controller module. (Phase 4) Rotor Position Sensor (Phase 5
