The cooling fan is controlled by the EOC and a temperature sensor located at the top of the oven near the control panel. If the temperature is above a 100 degrees there the cooling fan will continue to run. If it does not turn off when the temperature goes below this, there is a problem with either the EOC or temperature sensor. Try turning off the power to your oven for at least an hour to reset the EOC, this may fix the problem.
Regarding the shelves being 1/4 short, this is actually caused by your oven liner expanding not your shelves shrinking. The only fix for this is to have your oven liner replaced.
Both of these repairs are very expensive ( > $300) and may not be worth fixing.

No make or model try this remove the temperature sensor ohm it out should be around 1080 at room temp in WP products if the sensor is open or shorted the control locks out the unit and runs the cooling fan thinking the unit has over heated hopes this helps

Cont question on impala ck engine

Haven't yet checked the coolant temp sensor ? Does the vehicle shift good , engine run good ? If yes the coolant sensor isn't any problem . Is this your only problem ,The 25 amp mini fuse that keeps blowing is labled as fan cont #1 > You have a direct short to ground on the circuit that fues powers up . Do yo know how to find a short ? Videos on youtube for checking for shorts . It's probably a wiring problem . Insulation rubbed through , touching metal on the vehicle somewhere . Oven fan stays on

some ovens have a cooling fan that is controlled by a temp sensor, this will keep the fan running until the area where the sensor is cools. probably normal if it turns off after a while.

With my thermostat on auto and on heat, and the furnace turns on, the fan will not turn on with it. If I switch the fan to on it will run after I repeat back and forth from auto to fan on several times...

Well, here is the deal: unless you rewired from two wire to multiple (usually 4 to 10 wires) wires, the fan cannot be controlled from the thermostat, even though the thermostat indicates that it can > it is a physical wiring and fan administration issue.

Unless you have a newer furnace, the fan is controlled by plenum temp. Works like this: burner turns on, no fan until the plenum temp reaches set temp,....then burner off, and fan keeps running until pelnum temp drops, and often the fan may kick on a few more times as this temp depletes.

most ovens use a cut in limpet themostat(sometimes called button stat) typically normally open and closed at 40deg c. it will be this that will be not resetting to the open position at room temp. on rarer models the timer controls the cooling fan. some models of aeg and electrolux have a thermal delaying device located in abulb in the wiring loom. hope this helps

Lg split indoor fan runs non stop

Hello Hamid,
The unit is designed to run the indoor fanmotors continuously when in cooling mode on both indoor units (evaporators). The reason is that this circulates the air and the temperature thermistor or sensor is able to sense return air temperature and in turn start or stop the outdoor unit and compressor as required according to the setpoint temperature. The reason for either unit not reaching setpoint temperature can be a couple of reasons. A) Incorrect design - the unit may be too small for the application. You can calculate this roughly at 650BTU per square meter of room in a relatively warm ambient climate. Or secondly B) The outdoor unit has leaked and is short of refrigerant. You can check this when the outdoor unit is running by feeling the thicker copper tube on the right hand side of the unit. This should be cool to cold. If no temperature difference is felt, it is short of refrigerant. Hope this helps you. Goodbye

Oven fan keeps running even after off and door open

3 to 4 hours is a long time. Get to the fans (behind the control panel) and check the screens for dust. Chances are the screens are clogged with dust and need to be cleaned so the fans can move air for cooling better. I had this problem on my GE JTP14, and after cleaning just one fan it can keep up with cooling the electronic area while the oven is running. It runs much less often.

Safety first! cut the breaker before removing anything with a nice conductive screwdriver! Hope this helps!
