How to fix body control module in 2007 dodge ram 1500

When turning off truck and take key out of ignition, clock radio stays on with the odometer, & power windows continue to work after opening the driver door

Sounds like the switch or a relay. Try disconnecting the neg battery cable and leave off for a couple of minutes, allowing the computer to reset. Reattach battery cable and see if it works ok. If so, Relay is the cheapest fix so I think I'd try that next.

The BUS is not part of the PCM/ECM it is on the body control module (BCM). It effects radio and dash most noticeably. Has no effect on powertrain.

The ignition and timing are controlled by the PCM computer.

check supply voltage of integrated power module, as well as BCM- body control module located at passenger compartment left side of instrument panel

No radio power locks or dome lights

You may have a problem with the IOD fuse not being installed or blown. I may also be the forward control module, or what may be referred to as the body control module.

Much easier to replace the switch assembly. If it is something minor repair it but do not open the switch assembly packaging so that you can return it.
