SOURCE: When I play a song it will sound like its just

the speakers your plugging in aren't making full contact inside the plug which means you either aren't pushing it in far enough or the metal connectors are bent. if your device is in a protective case try taking it out and plugging in your speakers sometimes the case will prevent a tight connection. other than that you need to get the device looked at.

My ipod plays songs and i can hear the music but when i switch to radio there is no sound speakers do not work on radio..what is wrong????

Hi Fay
You need to clarify what you are saying....
Your iPod plays songs and you can hear music?
Where is sound coming from... Earphones?
How do you switch iPod to Radio....
Is there a cord connecting both together?
I would then suspect cord or connector type not matching up with radio input connector.
Connectors can be Sterio or Mono
Look at spacing on connector....
Earphone Adapter may help here

My motorola droid will play music in the earphones but whenever I take the earphones out the music will not play anymore

This privacy feature can be bypassed by pausing the music BEFORE removing the earphones; you can easily resume the song by tapping on play after the earphones are removed. It may be a tedious task until you get used to it, but imagine sitting in a library, church, office cubicle, etc and the cord gets snagged on something just as the phone conversation, movie or song blurts out something offensive, private or just downright embarrassing...
Hope this helps! :)

Mach Speed Eclipse: No Vocals!!

This is caused by the grounding connection on the earphone socket becoming disconnected, either due to faulty earphones or poor soldering.

If changing the earphones does not work, then the only fix is to dismantle the player and re-solder the headphone socket connections.

Green and orange?? Sounds like you need to restore your iPod.
Understand this: iTunes plays what is on the computer, NOT the iPod.

Can't hear songs on my MP3

Are they .mp3's or .wma's? I haven't gotten .wma's to play, but .mp3's work fine.

You may also want to try creating a folder in the player that contains your music. Shouldn't matter, I know, but you know what that's worth.

The symptoms you describe are caused by a break in the earphone socket ground connection.

If you are confident enough, dismantle the player and re-solder the 4 connections to the earphone socket.
