Question about Universal NoiseHush N500 Bluetooth Blk and Charcoal
(Droid RazrM/4.1.2 + NoiseHush N500) The Bluetooth unit will not power up properly. My phone and this device are paired, and have been previously used together many times, but now the earpiece will no longer turn on. No significant changes have been made to my phone. When I connect it to my computer, via its original charging USB cord, the red light is ON briefly (~3 sec), then the blue light comes ON indefinitely. No blinking. There is no response to any pressing or holding of buttons in either a plugged or unplugged state. My phone shows no sign of trouble, and lists the device as paired and connects without error, at least from its end. Bluetooth service is powered on, but still no apparent functionality, besides a pretty blue light. Please help! Just how dead is it? It sounds flat busted to me, not just out of sync, but maybe there's a hidden RESET button I don't know about?

You are not alone in this endeavor. A lot of people have this problem. So, here is what I suggest. 1. Make sure both the headset and the phone are fully charged. 2. Delete the "device" from your phone. I mean precisely that. Go into you cell phone's bluetooth settings and erase your "HS850" from it. 3. Try re-pairing it. Put the phone and the headset in pairing mode and allow it to sync. This should do it. I always works for me. You usually only need to pair once and every time you use the headset all you should have to do is connect it. I hope this works for you. Good Luck.

I had the same problem. It does seem to be related to the battery. The solution--in my case--was to recharge the headset until the light turned green again and then flip it open and it hooked up again.

Usually to pair a new device like that, there would be some trick to set it up. Im not familiar with your exact model, however ive had success with holding some buttons in.
Usually you would hold down the power button, or perhaps the volume up and down together, hold them down for a few secs and the light will go blue/red/blue/red to show its in pairing mode.

OK I managed to get my head set to work. Make sure the unit is charged, press and hold both the 'ON' button (on neck piece) and the "PLAY/PAUSE' button on the right earpiece. Keep holding then the LED should flash Blue three times THEN flash alternate RED and BLUE. You should then be able to Pair the Device. Good luck

If you can't reset your device- try this, which I just fiddled with and got mine to work (I had same problem). On headset, close boom, hold center button (and it turns pink). then, while keeping center button depressed, open boom- light remains pink. Then look on phone, and hit Add new device-- and bingo, it should be recognized now!! You'll be asked if u want to pair w/ Motorola-- and led through the process--follow those steps.
I had tried similar earlier, but the trick was to keep the button depressed, and then open the boom. I can't quite remember if I kept button depresed until I also pressed Add new device on phone or just until after opening the boom and the light stayed on ... Sorry I can't be exact; I was too excited. Hope this helps you get yours working!
