SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My head unit will not play burnt cds

I have a similar problem, When i try to play burnt cd's it would sometimes work and sometimes would skip or crackle as if it cannot read. I tried a standard bought cd and worked flawlessly so it cannot be the lens.

One thing i tried is when burning music to the disc turn the "write speed" right down to the slowest setting. If using Windows Media Player it is available by pressing Alt then navigating to the options menu. select burn -> write speed -> slowest. It doesnt go much slower but i think it writes less errors to the cd which makes it like a standard bought cd.

Hope this sheds some light on the situtation and good luck,

I need to know the which color of wire goes to what pin number on the connector that on the back of alpine CDA-7995.

You need a wire harness for your vehicle make. Its like 15 bucks. You plug it into your car harness where the radio goes. It has a little peice of paper to tell you what the color codes are. You need to know what the wires on the receiver are though. For example mine are labeled with small tape that say ground, front left, right rear, Ect. Leave good feedback if this helps. Thanks

Does the Alpine CDA-7894 have a fan built in the rear of radio? Would it be visible? I see the opening but no fan. I am curious if this is normal for the CDA-7894. Every Alpine i have ever owned had a fan...

Hi my names Josh i was reading some info on your unit. Thats a very nice unit was made in 03 and had alot of really nice features on it however if your looking for fan that unit was not equiped with one that slot in the back is not actually a fan but part of back plate design of the unit.

try detaching the "face" and there should be a little button that you can only push in with some kid of really thin stick, maybe a pin that will reset the cd player and hopefully work

Have an ALPINE CDA 7995 that won't eject CD - looking for possible suggestions without having to pull the deck

It should have a reset button on the display, try pressing thatin with a paperclick, toothpick, or something small enough to get into that tiny little switch. If if does not have a reset switch try disconnecting the harness on the back of the radio for just a few seconds and then plug it back in. Once the unit resets, the cd player should initialize and eject the disc.
If this does not work you will need to take it in for service at a repair center. Alpines are very good stereos and worth getting fixed.
