SOURCE: How much roundup do I use in a gallon of water to get a good kill

This will be hard to answer because roundup is sold in different strengths. On a dry morning mix a few ounces of round up to a gallon of water and test it by spaying it on some blades of grass. Results should be noticed after a few days.If you spent allot of money for just a little roundup then you probably have a strong solution. Some roundup is already mixed with water (diluted) and can be applied as is. I hope this helps

SOURCE: Quantity of Roundup weed killer to spray 140 acreas of crop land

This 2.0% glyphosate is ready to apply at a rate of 3-10 gallons per acre That's 420-1400 gallons per 140 acres. Some weeds need a higher concentration than 2%. Most farmers buy 41% glyphosate concentrate, determine the number gallons of spray mixture their equipment will deliver, determine the concentration of glyphosate they need and mix the concentrate with water accordingly.

SOURCE: the directions are missing on how to mix roundup

Howdy. First off, it depends on which color cap your product has, as there are different concentrations available.
Here are the choices: http://www.scotts.com/smg/brand_pages/round_up/image/Roundup_Chart.pdf

If you have the regular, basic, red cap product, here is the label:

I hope you find this handy:)

Mixing ratio roundup

Don't really catch your question, but 30 ml per liter is a good strong ratio. Some labels tell you to mix less, but not all weeds die if a weaker solution is mixed. Some more hardy weeds will not even turn brown. Also check the active ingredient grams per liter Ours are 480g/L. It differs from country to country as well as other suppliers selling it under another name.

Roundup superconceterte mixing

I assume you are talking mixing ratios. In most cases a 1% roundup to water mixture will kill many plants. On very stubborn species you can go to a 2% concentrate but anything above that in my opinion you're just wasting your money. More isn't always better when it comes to weed killers.

I have used Roundup weed killer in the past, and am satisfied. But I no longer have the instructions about how much product to mix per gallon (or quart) of water. I use small amounts, like a quart sprayer....

I have a 5ltr can of Roundup and the dilution ratio for general week killing is 1 part Roundup to 4 parts water. I use this ratio all the time and it workes a treat.

How much roundup do i put in 3 liters of water

Round up is currently offered in a few variations. If you have the "Spray and GO" or the "Spray and Go" refill product do not add water. The ratio is already correct. Likewise for the "Redy-to-Use Plus", do not add water.
If you have the "Weed and Grass Killer Concentrate Plus", the ratio is 3oz/gallon water. 3 liters of water=0.79 gallons so use 2.4 oz of this type of Round Up.
If you have the "Weed and Grass Killer Super Concentrate", the ratio is 1.5oz/gallon water so you would use 1.2 oz of product mixed into 3 liters of water.
If you have a different product and just need to work out the conversion from gallons to liters, 1 gallon=3.78 liters.
Hope this helps.

How much Roundup do you mix in one gallon of water?

If you have the concentrate (label reads Concentrate Plus), the amount of Roundup will depend on the plants you want to kill. Use 6 fl oz (12 tablespoons) for 1 gallon for most plants. If you have seedlings or easy to kill weeds, use 3 fl oz (6 tablespoons) per gallon.

The Super Concentrate may have a different rate. The labels are usually on the manufacturer's web site as PDFs.

I hope this helps.
