Is there a differance between T and T3 terminal on R7184P furnace controler. I W from thermostat go to T or T3.I am trying to find the C Common port to connect the swithch relay to control external...

you may have to pick up the common from the circuit board. alot of times those contactors are breaking the line voltage side of the power leg and not the common. a 240volt circuit will operate without the nuetral. there is a difference in the t3 terminal so play it safe and pick up the common at the board

My sony dsc-t3 cybershot has vertical lines on the display

This is a problem known to Sony. They had a recall on the T3 because of it. They extended the recall, however, the extension ended in about March of '08. Some recall - You had to stumble on it at their web site to know about it!
I got my T3 repaired in May of '08, but had to pay shipping both ways to Laredo, the nearest Sony repair place. They insisted on insurance, so it cost almost as much as their flat fee repair of $121.
They fixed the camera, but it didn't focus as well after that. I didn't realize that 'til after their 30-day repair warranty period was up.
Here's their email, if you want to wrestle with them:
SONYSVCLRD@AM.SONY.COM
Recently I began getting "Turn power off and on again" message. It's a common problem, but again, Sony offered no suggestions. They basically wanted $121 to fix it.
The FixYa site helped me "fix" it by flipping the lens cover open (down) with my finger when turning it on.
I am not buying any more Sony cameras, and will probably sell this one with a disclaimer. There are too many trouble-free high-spec cameras around to fool with Sony-baloney. They've gone too far downhill.
I'll probably get a Canon S90. It's almost the same size as the T3 and much higher-spec.
Hope this helps!

I have a TLKR-T3 and a T5720 radios. can they communicate? Thanks

No, they have no frequencies in common. The TLKR-T3 uses the PMR446 frequencies common in Europe. The T5720 uses FRS freqeuncies common in the USA.

No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out

below 55dBmv TX is a lot better. Could be a bad service line. Also if you call the cable company and have them come out again. Have them put their DSAM meters on the house lines as well as the service tap and have them check for upstream ingress. a lot of things can cause this. It could be a loose fitting somewhere in the house. A t.v.'s shielding may be going out causing unwanted frequencies bleeding in and creating all kinds of noise on the upstream spectrum going back to the node. It could even be a neighbor causing this with their own equipment. If that's the case their maintenance techs should be able to find that.

DSC-T3 Sony, Image from the lense is not diaplayed on the screen

Yes , this is very common with T3 : it is caused by faulty CCD sensor ( see enclosed pic of a sensor and lens assy . ) and this needs replacing . Good news is that Sony will repair free of charge.2bcdbc0.jpg

Synchronizing Tungsten T3 with desktop or laptop

I recently re-installed my T3 program

What do you mean?
  • Did you restore your T3 from a backup on the PC?
  • Did you install programs on the T3 using the PC's "quick install"?
Is Palm Desktop showing the correct Contact/To-do/Calendar Data?

How are the conduits set up? (From Palm Desktop, select Hotsync->Custom)
