My wash machine drum keep banging on side walls when spinning causing very loud noise and vibration

What kind of make and model washer do you have?
Your drum is off balance.
Is this happening with all loads or awkward heavy loads?
If the load is too big or heavy you have to stop the machine and adjust the load.
Can not give more info without knowing more.

On random occasions, during thunderstorms, when the car is off and parked, the alarm / horn will start honking.

Some vehicles have vibration sensors that will trigger alarms when a heavy thunderclap resonates.

Heavy vibration when turning

Does it do this on both left and right turns? It might be a CV joint if it is only left or only right turns.

Milnor mwr18j6 vibration switch tripped

Load was out of balance (to Heavy with water, to many Jeans etc.)
Open washer and look at switch, it may be stuck or the switch is bad and the load was not to heavy.
Good luck

Compaq presario CQ61 is making a vibrating noise. it is constant

Two things,
1) Check if you have a CD/DVD in the disk-drive and remove it. The spinning disk is causing the vibration

2) Go to START > Control panel > PERFORMANCE AND MAINTENANCE > POWER OPTIONS >

In the middle of the dialog box, you should see a box that says "Turn off hard disks".
There you can select "After 3 minutes" or "After 5 minutes". This will turn off another spinning/vibrating thing if you have an issue with imbalance there.

3) Make sure you are not blocking the vent holes on the bottom of your laptop so air can get through and it doesn't overheat. The last spinning thing on your laptop is the cooling fan. This only comes on when it is hot. If you are doing a lot of calculations or heavy-duty computing will also make it hot but this is very rare (I guess some games can also be considered heavy-duty computing and cause overheating). If you are doing heavy-duty computing, there is nothing that can be done about he vibration of the cooling fan.

Good luck

An extreme vibration in spin cycle. It makes the

Because front load washers are VERY HEAVY, they shake if you have a wooden floor. If your front loader sits on concrete and it still shakes, then you have to make sure all is balanced. If it still shakes, then inside the system there are shock absorbers that need to be checked.

Feeling a vibration in the bike only in gear at the 3-3.5k rpm range that the only way i can think to explaing is a feeling of a sticky bearning. does not do it in neutral

It could be wheel/tire balancing issue if you only feel the vibration at highway speeds (60 mph and above) then higher speeds it goes away.
I've worked with tires and rims on trucks, bikes and cars and have found that a harmonic vibration is usually caused by tires being out of balance.

Perhaps the dealer could check for a vibration on a dyno.

For the DIY bikers.....Use CAUTION but, the Old school routine would be to raise the wheels (heavy duty Bike Jack) strap it down and spin the tires by hand and check the rims for run out (to the sides) and the tires to see if they are round and true.

Then spin the rear tires to speed (3500rpm) to see if the shaking/vibration is there. Also rotate/spin the front tire and see if there is a heavy spot that will settle to the bottom. Add a the appropriate weight (1/4 oz stick on weight) to the opposite side (180 degrees) of the heavy spot. Spin again and see if totally random spots settle to the bottom. Road test and see if it improves.

Front end vibrates when braking

I turn them on a brake lathe in my shop whenever I change brake pads for customers. Heavy repeated braking will make em warp and vibrate like that. also changing the pads without turning them on a lathe will often leave them warped. Usually caused by either overheating during heavy braking effort or very commonly, using too heavy an impact wrench to tighten the lug nuts up. Did u get your tires changed recently? if so, dont go there again. their impact wrench is not set right and is likely overtightening the lug nuts.
Get a local garage/NAPA to turn the rotors and replace the pads. If the vibration is very severe you will have to replace the rotors.
Hope this helps if so pls rate my answer!
