SOURCE: HONEYWELL CM921 ROOM THERMOSTAT

Remember the is a time and temperature controller if you want to use as an ON/OFF controller please ensure you OFF times are set to LOW temperatures for example at 8:00am I want the boiler firing to 21°C at 10:00 I want the boiler to go OFF at 5°C so ensure all so called OFF times are set to LOW temperatures.

SOURCE: heat pump works in emergency heat, but not in auxiliary heat

I set the thermostat for 70 degrees. It comes on always in auxillary heat and does not shut off when it reaches 70 degrees. It is a heat pump, I am assuming, it might be the thermostat? But when the air conditioner is on, it turns off when it reaches it's temperature.

SOURCE: I have a Honeywell Thermostat CM67NG The flame

You may have a broken thermostat wire. Disconnect the wires from the thermostat and please note what colors are hooked to which terminals. Cross the R and W wires and see if your heating system turns on. If it does not, you have a broken wire or bad connection at the heating system. If it does start, you have a bad thermostat or bad connection at the thermostat.

My Honeywell dt200 is displaying a flame when I turn it on but isn't actually heating.

The problem could be with the heating unit or furnace and not the thermostat.

I have an icon similar to a fire flame showing on my honeywell Energy star thermastat for my home central ac and heating unit. what does this mean because my heat has stopped working

hi this is mr.grzz, well to answer your question, the little icon on your t-stat that shows a little flame means that your t-stat is calling for heat, there in lies the problem your t-stat is doing what it is supossed to do, your problem lies with the furnace, it could be a nuber of things wrong, but first and formost, try turning the power off to the furnace at the breaker panel, wait for about 30 seconds, then turn the power back on, this resets the circuit board, see if that will help your furnace to run, but there is a reason behind why your furnace failed, if this does the trick, then great, if not please fell free to come back and let us know what the furnace is doing after it trys to start up, thanks for your question, hope that helps, mr.grzz

Honeywell CM921 Showing room temp at -24 degrees, How do I reset?

Heya this is a manufacturing fault from honeywell them selves when it comes up -24 basically it needs to be replaced there is no way around in if you get in touch with honeywell they are generally good about it also if you provide them with the date code and model code they will be greatfull as it seems they have sent out a "bad batch". you locate this by:

A) Move the slide in to the off position
B) Press and hold i for 5 seconds
C) Unit will enter settings mode
D) Press and hold the i button and the + and ¿ button together
E) The unit will hold the relay on for 5 minutes and you can view by pressing the down arrow twice for model id/date code (ww/yy)

I hope this helps
