If you need the data off your Pikaone Flycase drive then take it out of its case (four screws and slide the case sections backwards) then install it in your PC as a normal IDE (slave) drive. Pikaone control board faults are common but it is unlikely the drive itself is faulty.
There are devices available (from Maplin?) to put the drive in an external IDE or SATA dock and then connect it to the PC via USB.
