Trying to connect to internet cant find wireless & cant find a ethernet place either

The laptop in question does not have a place to plug in the ethernet cable. The laptop is not fitted with wi-fi or bluetooth adapters either. The best and cheapest way to connect this laptop to the internet is using a PCMCIA Card Adapter (type two or three as both are supported.) such as the product supplied by linksys. If yours is similar to the one in the photo then it should include a cable with the required network connection on the end. The "linksys" card you mentioned is no doubt the correct one, but minus the vital cable!

Lightning nocked out ethernet need netcard

The simplest way, without opening the computer, would be to get a USB ethernet card, such as this:
Amazon com Cable Matters SuperSpeed USB 3 0 to RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet...

Secondarily, you would have to consult your owners manual on what type of expansion port(s) you have internally, then purchase an ethernet card, similar to the one in the link below, and install it:

Ethernet dont work code28

Go out to Staples and buy an ethernet card. You can use this permanently or just to access the web to the drivers for the integrated port. That's what I had to do.

Cant git xbox live with internet card in my notebook

As in an internet card that acts as a wireless receiver? If so, these things don't transmit wirelessly, so it's just for internet in your laptop. You need either an ethernet cable running from a land line, or a wireless receiver for the 360 with a wireless router.

I reinstalled Windows XP to my computer and now i cant get the internet. There is a yellow question mark and exlmation point next to Ethernet Controller and it has a code 28 error.

You should have had 2 cds that came with your computer. The 2nd one has all the drivers on it. Install the drivers and your problem will go away.
