Does anyone know what the range is for the Motorola talkabout T5725? I can't seem to find it anywhere

As a general rule handheld radios will talk up to 2 miles line-of-sight. Anything you place between the two radios will reduce range. Talking from inside a building to outside, you can expect 1/4 to 1/2 mile. This being said, a radio can talk as far as it can see, so if you were on a mountain top, you could conceivably talk many miles into a valley below. Height and placement of your antenna determines range. Holding your antenna upright perpendicular to the earth will give you the best range.

line of site. Low power radio = not much range. Describe your conditions/applications and I can give you a better answer. Such as, will it talk 5 miles is not as good as I am in a building and need to talk to the parking lot.

How do I connect Motorola Talkabout KEM-ML36100 with Uniden pmr1188?

I don't know where you are located, but I have a feeling that you are using two incompatible systems.
The PMR (Personal Mobil Radio) is build for the European market. The allocated frequencies for it's 8 channels are from 446.00625 Mhz to 446.09375 Mhz. Your Motorola is for the US market GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service) and FRS (Family Radio Service) and it's channels are allocated from 462 Mhz and 467 Mhz area.

Bottom line is, since their channels are on different frequencies, they can't talk to each other.

BTW, it would be illegal to use the European radio in the US and visa versa. You could be interferring with other radio services.

If you have a pair of them, just set them both to the same "channel" and "Code". If you have two different models, even if they're both Motorola, they may not use the same index numbers for the same settings.

Who knows where can i buy a 50 to 100 mile two way radio

You would need a repeater (maybe two repeaters) to carry a signal that far. For such long range communication, I would suggest using a cell phone with PTT (Push to Talk) feature. These phones can transmit nationwide on the cellular network. AT&T carries these phones as well as Nextel and Boost Mobile. These phones are now standard issue for the United States Secret Service.

These phones can act just like a standard two-way radio as well as a cell phone. Several Motorola model phones can be used on these networks and also have MotoTalk.

MotoTalk is a feature of PTT handsets that allows communication between two or more units even when they're out of range of the cellular network. (Maximum range is stated as being up to 8 miles - but realistically it's closer to about 4 miles depending on terrain).
