Where can i get a lakewood fan motor for lakewood fan model number HV-18

you would have to go to a place that sells motors and get one by motor type, that than the appliance make and model. All electric motors are standard by size, voltage, speed and fixings.

All of the sudden my fan stopped working completely. It does have a lot of dust in it. It is 12 inches and says Model HV-9 C. I tried to plug it in several different plugs, still doesn't work.

take front off of fan. then blow the motor out good to get rid of dirt and dust. also when apart oil the front and back of armature, to make it run better.

I have a HV-20G floor fan, And I have no contitnuity between the "white"--(common ) wire and the"red-low", "blue-mid", or "black-hi" wirres.I have 7.3 ohms between the blue&black and blue&red on a...

In that particular model, there is a small thermo fuse connecting the white wire and the yellow wire(there are 2 yellow wires coming from the capacitor). It's hidden in the coil so you can just cut the wick in that area an pull those two wires and you are going to see the fuse(small square shape one).

Are replacement motors available for these fans? Lakewood HV 18 Lakewood HV 21 Lakewood HV 21T

mcdevito75 here, If the fan is not too old I would figure yes, but a replacement motor will cost as a new fan, if not more, then you have to install and the blades are a presss fit to the motor.

Received hoover powermax fusion vac today and the handle will not go down as indicated in diagram.

What is your model number? A Savvy and Powermax are differntent models. The Savvy the handle slides on and there are 4 screws to hold it in place. The Powermax has 2 screws to hold it in place. have you removed them before trying to put the handle on. If you have, you just have to work so it will slide down then put in the screws to secure it.

Lakewood HV-18 fan... how to wire switch?

My switch unit also fell apart as I took the back off and I didn't get to see the correct position of the switch. After much trial and error, I found this to be the initial "Off" position (see photo)
