SOURCE: BRother printer error code 41

The printhead is defective. Call brother hotline. Because this is a very common error (due to malconstruction on the mfc 3820 ) they might replace it for free. And when asked: OF COURSE YOU HAD ALWAYS RUN THE UNIT BY ORIGINAL INK CARTRIDGES!!!! :-) (take the ink carts out before sending or giving it to a service dealer!)

SOURCE: have tried and tried to get wireless connection

First, I see a potential problem.

Do you have both wireless router's hooked up? If you do, what frequency are they?

If they are 2.4 GHz, then you have an overlap of wireless connections. Also, do you have any 2.4 GHz house phones. They can cause interference as well as fluorescent lights. If you are in a basement as well, you will have to use a repeater because concrete causes wireless signals to bounce.

If you have any further questions or if this doesn't work, post a response to this.

If none of the above apply to you except the basement, you will need to go to your computer or electronics store and purchase a print server (and a repeater if in a basement). Connect the print server to the router and, if in the basement, then you will need to position the repeater close to the basement hallway and enter the MAC address into the router as well.

Follow the manufacturer's guidelines.

SOURCE: printer not activated error code-41

Hi there

Error 41 means there is a major problem with the printhead, usually
requires a print head replacement.

My advice is to take it to a
Brother service centre while if it is under warranty.

If it's out of warranty they are usually a throw away job, the heads cost as much as the printer.

Sorry I know what it feels like, just have a go and see what you can do, clean the heads and so on.

All the Best and good luck: Pineworks

I have a HP laptop and cant find the activation code on Aol mail

Is the code needed to connect wirelessly to your router? If so, usually the bottom/top of the modem/router will have the necessary password. If you plug straight into a router, that's not what you need.

My wii system can't connect to my wireless Internet. It has an error code of 51032. What does that mean? It has also been connected to my wireless before, it won't make the connection now

Check to see if your router has a firewall. It might be blocking the signal from the wii. The Wii can't work though firewalls from routers.

Also your router should have something called MAC settings. Get your wii MAC number and add it to your router's list of MAC users. You need to activate your routers MAC settings for this of course. Also any other wireless accessing devices (laptops etc) need to included via there MAC numbers in your routers MAC list.

I use a LINKSYS WRT54g2 so my info above should help.

to make ur printer go wireless its advisable to keep the WPS in the router disabled and activate the security mode WEP instead of WPA in the router. this will solve all the wireless connectivity issues with the printer.

When trying to connect to the internet I get error

Error Code: 5133 Specific Error Code Not Found - General Troubleshooting
  • Try adjusting the "Channel" your wireless router broadcasts on. We highly recommend setting your wireless router to either channel 1 or 11. This can potentially increase the download speed. For information on accessing your router's settings, click here to select the brand name and model number of your router (if available).
  • Check your router's broadcast settings to find out if it is set to "G", "B", or "Mixed." Mixed typically works best, but try all three to see if it improves the network connection to the Wii console.

  • Make sure that any other interfering devices, such as microwaves and cordless phones, are turned off. Wireless keyboards and mice may also cause interference.
