SOURCE: Can not transmit faxes
Mostly this happens when the firmware of the machine is corrupted
Try reflashing it through a nearby service centre
Also check the document feeder
Please do check the settings whether it shows receive only mode!
I hope this helps u, ..... advance sorry otherwise

Sunds as though you have the handset that came with the machine attached to it and the handset ring volume is still on. To turn that off there are 2 black inset switches on the handset itself turn those down or off.

SOURCE: Fax will not grab paper
Ther is a separation pad that developes a divot caused by the feed roller. Simple fix. order a new separation pad. It's located under the top cover. Just move slowly and identify the latches that hold the cover down. Don't force anything.
Another possibilty. If a document was forcably pull out of the document area the "White paper bar above the scanner glass might have been jerked out of it's normal position causing a blockage in the path. Investigate this possibility before ordering parts.

This needs clarification. Is it the Handset on the machine that is ringing? If so there is a small slider control on the handset that can be adjusted down with a paper clip. But if the fax itself is to loud you'llneed to go inot programming and selct the Monitor Volume and set it lower or off.

On the controll panel there is a diamond shape picture with a eye in it.press that bottom and clear the fax that you received. There is no other way.You will have to phone the sender and ask them to change the papersize settings on the fax machine.
