Adjust the speed. Adjudsting screw in the end of it (on the door edn). Tun it in to slow down, out to speed up. Should only need 1 or 2 turns. If still not adjusting, replace the unit.

I have a Whirlpool bottom freezer fridge model WRF560SEYMOO. The bottom drawer will not close completely. we have emptied and turned down to thaw out any possible ice blockage.

check all the shelves, check the bin on the door, sometimes one side is up farther than the other side keeping the door from closing or remove the bin and shelves and see if it closes, one of them are hitting or the tracks on the sides are bad but most likely it will be the bin or shelf.

Slamming doors: screen door slams, how do you adjust closing speed?

There is a an dajustment screw in the end of the unit (end attached to door) screw it in to slow down, out to speed up. Usually only 1 or 2 turns will make a big difference, unless its shot, in which case no amount of turning will change the setting, it needs replacing.

When I close door it slams to the frame. no damping

Try tightening the screw on the ends of the "tube" body of the closure.

Turn 1 full turn clockwise and test each time to your satisfaction.

Best regards my friend!.

We opened the door, now door won't close. The closer rod is locked open

Turn the screw in the end of the shaft (on the door end) counterclockwise to release all the pressure.Once it closes or slams shut, use that screw to adjust the closing speed. Other problem could be the stay open lock (the metal piece that slides along the shaft) could be all the way out keeping the door from closing. If it is just push on the door a bit then slide the lock plate all the way back to the end of the shaft, and the door will close.

Can not adjust closing pressure to latch storm door when main door is closed.

Good and Bad
Good, you have a great seal.
Bad, creates pressure not allowing air the escape.
Adjust with main door open and most times screen will close after a long time.

Sounds like something bumped the door when it was open. You could try loosening the hinge bolts and moving the door, or using a pry bar to bend the hinges to make the door closer to the striker.

How to install a door closer

Most come separated but if not separate the arm that holds to the door and door frame. Look to your installation manual or instructions to see the proper placement of unit to door. Depending on the door/frame you might want to pre-drill some holes for the screws after placing and marking the spots. Place the main piece back on an screw to the door. Mark out where to drill the arm to the frame of the door. Turn arm or use screws to adjust it to fit to the main unit without connecting it. On the bottom take the cap covering up the nut and turn it 30 - 45 degrees (or recomended by maker) with wrench HOLD it there until you connect the arm to the unit. Make sure that it connects properly. After screw the arm onto the unit and recover bottom with cap. Done!
If the door closes too swiftly, slams, or is hard to open then it needs to be adjusted by turning the S, L, or BC valves on the side.
S- how fast it swings from wall to 1-3" from door frame (hits you)
L- those 1-3" to the frame ( Slamming)
BC - controls how much force is needed to open the door
