My Toyota axio 2008 power steering and radio go off and I have to change the fuse what can cause the fuse to blow?

The radio may have a short blowing the fuse. The power steering ECU could also be the culprit since it's electronic on a Toyota.

My fuse blows everytime i plug in my sirius radio to cigarette lighter...why?

is that the only device that is blowing a fuse? if it is the only thing blowing your fuse you may need to replace the charger. check the fuse to make sure it is the correct size ( usually 10 amp). check the power adapter to make sure there are no loose connections or anything in the plug that doesn't belong there. unplug the radio from the adapter and plug the adapter in without the radio see if the fuse blows . if it blows replace the adapter. if it doesn't blow the fuse check the adapter to make sure it is the right one make sure the polarity is correct

It blows the fuse everytime I put the cell phone charger in. Going to change out lighter and can't figure out how to get behind the dash on 2002 Sebring

most of the time its the cell phone charger that is the problem. the ones with the cheap plug that has the fuse inside it are the worst. try the lighter in it, if it works without blowing the fuse then you should get a new charger or replace the plug with a good one

Same problem as problem already posted. the cd player, radio, and clock are blacked out and wont power up. every time i install a 15 amp fuse it blows, please help

is the cigarate lighter is also not working ? if the case then try using new lighter or mobile charger. if not then just remove the socket of radio and then place the fuse if it is blowing then problem with wire got short some where with body if it is not blowing then replace radio.

Same exact problem

Theres a blown fuse, unplug the phone charger and any other acc you might have. Check the box under the left side of dash and under hood fuse box. How are you checking the fuse? Test light or visual? Sometimes its hard to see a blown fuse. I see this all the time at the dealership, also make sure theres no coins that might have fallen into a socket causing the fuse to blow.

2006 Toyota Matrix 2nd fuse panel location?

The second fuse panel that you seek is under the dashboard, on the driver side (for a US car). This box is called the "JB1" (junction block #1), and contains several relays in addition to the 15 amp "CIG" fuse that you need to replace.
Hope this helps, and thanks for choosing FixYa!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Radio dead (not a code issue), Fuse #9 (lighter) keeps blowing

Yes, replacing the #9 fuse in the fuse box under the glove box seemed to do the trick (Front Accessory Socket). Thank you!!

Radio troubleshooting, reset maybe?

Toyotas have 2 power wires one for the stereo itself and another for the memory. They are connected with other accesories such as the dome lights , cigarette lighter, etc. using the same fuse circuits. check all the fuses to the accessories and the radio fuse.If all the fuses are good it is a programming problem.I don't know how to program it.
