My compressor runs a few minutes and then cuts off. What's my problem?

First Check the coils for cleanliness and make sure that your condenser motor is running. If that checks ok, please provide product info; make, model, type, age etc.

I have kelvinator fridge it doesn't cool in both compartment we replaced the compressor il coold down for only 3dayes then returned back to hot state

is the condenser fan running back there?also did you clean out the condenser coil?usually when the middle strip gets hot the coil is filled with dust or the fan where the compressor is isn't running.the condenser fan keeps the compressor cool and all the heat from the machine escapes out through the condenser coil.check this, also the start device could be bad on the compressor, send model number next time you write so whoever helps you can look up your machine.hope this info helps you out.

If refrigerator is still cooling, but not real cold, could it just use freeon or motor replaced? I paid almost $1,000 on it in 2005. My husband tells me refrigerators are generally made to last 10 years....

Ok
How is the freezer? Everything frozen solid?or is that warm too?\
If freezer seems good ,then you 're gonna be ok.Meaning your compressor is fine , and there is a refrigerant charge. In this case ,you probably have a defrost problem where refrigerator section gets really warm but freezer still works "ok".This is a very common problem.Get us a model # and we can narrow down what it might be.Don't throw away the machine.Easily fixed.

If freezer is not freezing well but there is still refrigeration, the compressor is still probably ok,but there is some inefficiency going on.Most comonly condenser fan off or very dirty condenser coils or bad door seal leak or thermostat system keeps shutting machine off too much.A refrigerant leak would be terminal and you would have 0 refrigeration .

Much to ponder
Repost with more info if you need more help

Hope thi makes you feel better

Will not start petrol ok Carb jet settings ?? Condenser ??

Mowers do not have condensers anymore unless it is a very old model. Try replacing the spark plug, and is there sufficient compression? Even if the carb settings are out, the engine should at least fire if the ignition is ok.

Looking for evaporator Coil number for Carrier Model 24ANA736

Are you replacing or adding an evaporator coil to this system? If replacing, please give us the model # (and product #) of the evaporator coil. If you can't find one for it, we will need the air handler (or gas furnace) model # so we can help you match it up.
If you just want the condenser coil for that condenser, the part # is 331230-7035.

Can you tell me the manufacture year and seer rating of a condensing unit with serial # 4397e02306?

Carrier puts this info or their data plates and have for a few years now. If it's not on this one, it's pretty old. If over 12 years, it will be around an 8 SEER or less. I you can supply a model number of the condenser I will be glad to look it up in my data base.

Subaru overheats on uphill grades; does ok on level.

look for those pesky plastic bags covering the radiator or condenser...even look in between the very small gap between radiator and condenser ...look good with a pen light....ive even seen a candy wrapper create an airflow problem and they **** in there like a vaccum
