First we have to manually see if we jump the water valve if there is water then. if yes could be the ice maker bad, if no could be the water valve or you water line is frozen inside the freeezer... whirlpoolpartssurplus.com free tech support

I was trying to give you steps to rule out what may be the cause of you not getting any ice. 1. Check voltage 2. jump the water valve direct that goes to the ice maker and see if there is water in the ice maker.

If you get water when you jump the water valve with 110 volts and it goes into the ice maker then you have a bad ice maker. If you do not get any water when jumping the water valve then the valve may be bad or you could have a block somewhere in-between the water valve and ice maker

you can feel free to call our place... but you check voltage with a voltmeter at the water valve just trace the line from the ice maker to the water valve, you can also get a 110 jumper wire at a hardware store and jump that exact valve.

Icemaker makes a few ice cubes but then water pours continuously through the maker into the collection tray.

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand the ice maker in your Frigidaire refrigerator makes a few cubes and then pours water continuously into the tray. I will be more than happy to assist you. So I am able to better assist you, I kindly ask that you provide me with your model number. Typically, you can find this number located on the inside of your refrigerator on either the right or left hand side wall. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Frigidaire professional refrigerator

Sounds like you have a problem with water valve/triple solenoid assembly. It controls the flow of water to the door and ice maker. I believe it comes as a complete unit.

No ice in ice maker, no water in door.

check back to source for crimped or blocked pipes. If you can not see anything try removing the pipe and pass air through it, if you find resistance (when valves are open) you may have a frozen/crimped pipe.

I have a frost free refrigerator (MODEL #: FGTD 20V4GW2 and SERIAL #: ba00230071) yet the ice/frost builds up of the door, top and front of the freezer. Also the bottom compartment where the milks,...

if ice is on the door and ceiling and frozen water dropleats on the food packages the door was left open and the air ducts are frozen.when you open the freezer door do you hear the fan blowing,if not it could be bad or iced up,if the ice is on the inside back wall of the freezer you have a defrost problem, get back to me and tell me if the ice or like snow is just on the back wall or if the door was left open ice will be on ceiling ,door and shelves and food packages, also that's not a good model number if the freezer is on top look at the left wall up near the ceiling in the fridge section, you should see a tag there with the model number.

Frigidaire FRS23KF7AW2 Side by Side No water

I believe the water valve may sound like it is trying to open for the ice maker. The water valve has two sides on it for water dispenser and other side is for the ice maker. One side goes bad you just replace the water control valve. I will return with part numbers. Sea Breeze

Icemaker

Do you hear it trying to draw water into the ice tray? If so, there might be an internal problem you can't fix yourself. especially since the fridge is dispencing water. Is the arm inside the ice maker pushe down? This is what tells the ice maker to fill and make the ice.

Let me know if this helps.
