To get the bearings off you will first start by removing the eccentric gear part and you can't see it but you put an Allen key through the mounting hole of the sanding pad to remove it a vice is that easy and when it is off then fix the brass eccentric part with a large screwdriver and then manually remove the anchor from the cone wheel which drives the crown wheel. some needed tools phillips screwdriver, allen keys, vice, and a blade puller
This was very common, they say it was because the screws were too long and prutruding through the nut the thread then gets covered in concrete dust and when trying to unscrew locks in the thread. You will probably have to destroy the cover to get it off.
Sounds like an overheating problem. Are you working in a well-ventilated area or in direct sunlight? Check, if you can, the temperature of the motor case. You might have to take a break more often. This hot summer has stressed a lot of motors and electronics. When it shuts off you know it is trying to save itself from burnout.
replace the decompression valve. also check for carbon buildup on top of piston. usually when a saw stops on its own after 5 min or so.... the piston and jug are scored and need to be replaced.
check that surface plate is square with the blade.don't push too hard,or force the saw,let it cut at it's own speed, guide rather than force.a scroll saw or band saw is more accurate as you control the work piece instead of the tool.
The TS75 when new will cut a small amount off the splinterguard (Plastic/rubber edging).
If the saw is cutting any further please check that the saw is sitting correctly on the rail and ensure that the 2 green adjusting cams on the base have been adjusted so that the saw runs freely along the rail but does not move side to side.
If this does not correct the problem contact the dealer who sold you the saw or Festool direct contact details are available on www.festool.co.uk
