Usually due to CONDENSATION due to bad door seals or a plugged evaporator drain line? Can use a soft flexable tubing and very hot water to clean it out. Bad door seals usually need replacement, but u can use a blow dryer and something to pry it closer to the door wall while blowing hot air on to it. To create a seal, to test for bad door seals place a dollar bill in between the door and wall of fridge where it closes. Then slide out the dollar bill with door closed. It should offer some resistance and not be easy to pull out.
Most all fridges have a drain. Look inside your fridge for a "V" shaped channel with a small hole. This hole leads to a tube and a small pan which sits on top of your refrigerator's compressor. The defrost cycle causes water to run into the channel, down the tube, and then it generally evaporates with the heat of the hot condenser/compressor.
However, if that tube is clogged with food crumbs, particles , debris etc, you will have to clear it to get back to a normal mode of operation. A toothpick, pipecleaner, straw or a cotton bud can often do the trick.
Even a frost free freezer will still ice up at times in the areas away from the heated defrost area and the drain line can freeze. This icing causes the pipe work to the compressor to ice over or sweat and cause a puddle. Or if the drainage has frozen over, it will need to be de-iced. ( usually the line is under the freezer bottom plate covering. Towards the back of the unit) And there is another inside the fridge area also.
Give the freezer a good overnight defrost until it's totally clear of ice in addition to making sure the drain is clear to the pan at the back and then restart the freezer.

Fridge is clean but has a nasty smell coming out from the back


There may be a tray under the fridge that collects any water from defrosting . It usually evaporates from the compressor fan blowing over it . Remove lower front cover and back cover to access and clean this tray. Unplug unit before attempting this just to be safe. Hope this helps.

What is the water tray for, if the chips go on the briquets?


Water tray is to put under the meat so the fat won't drip onto the briquets and cause flare-ups...also supposedly keeps meat moist.

How to use a char-broil smoker (charcoal) with wood chips smoking briskit. ( what temature should the grill be at ?)

To use your Brinkman Smoker or Other Smokers
1... Marinate or place a rub on the meat you will be smoking, and let it sit for a few hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
2...Cover your wood chips with water(and if you wish you can add some Jim Beam Whisky or other flavorfull liquids in a bowl with the water, 1 inch above the wood chips and use a flat peice of metal (pie pan,etc.)to weigh the wood chips down underwater.
You will do the wood chips at least 24 hrs before you plan to start smoking this gives the wood time to soak in the flavorfull liquids.
3...Start a fire in the smoker having the fire below the meat, but do not put the meat on yet, wait till the flames die down first.
Once they are coated with gray ash, you can place the meat on the racks and add your soaked chips to the smoker.
I would place an aluminum drip pan under the center portion of the cooking area on your smoker, to catch the juices from the meat if you are not using a water pan in that position.
4...Place the meat in the smoker on the grilling surface, and place the wood chips over the charcoal and hardwood in the main grilling area Close the lid and do not open it unless you must add wood chips during the cooking process.
5...Continue adding wood chips to the tray as needed during the time you are cooking.
If you have a Brinkmann or other smoker with one chamber for placing the wood chips and the meat, add wood chips only once per hour.
6...Apply your sauce to the meat one hour before the meat should be done.
Test your meat with a thermometer for for an internal tempreture of 160 degrees for medium and 170-180 degrees for medium well to well
Note: Apply the sauce quickly to avoid loosing the heat in your smoker if you leave it open too long it will allow the heat and smoke to escape, increasing the cooking time.
Close the lid if it needs to continue cooking till you reach the right internal tempreture
7...Test your meat with a meat thermometer after a few hours of cooking time.
Make sure your meat is at least 160 degrees internal tempreture for medium and more than 170 degrees for medium to well.
Close the lid and maintain your heat if it needs to continue cooking.

I have never had a smoker before is the water pan the bottom one or is that the wood chip pan?

Water collects under the deli/meat tray of our Samsung RF267 side by side refrigerator and freezes there. Where does the water come from and how to resolve the problem? Help ALSO Our Samsung front...


The water is coming from a leaking water tank behind the deli/meat tray. It only leaks when you use the water dispenser. You will need to disassemble the deli drawer to get to the water tank and replace the water tank. FOR THE WASHER, call Samsung for service. You may have a control board problem.

You seem to have conflicting information here.
If you turn the therostat DOWN it is setting it to defrost that will not help the food in the door to get cold it gets it warmer. The water is possibly from the fridge being in defrost mode and the tube that usually direcfts it to a tray beneath the fridge to waste tray that evaporates the water from the heater coil has somehow been directed back into the crisper draw.

tfry turning the fridge to colder not warmer. Hope i interpreted this correctly, language is a wonderful tool when facial expression and visuals are available otherwise its a handicap

Vegetable & Meat Tray Freezing on refrigerator


you have the freezer set too low. set it at -02 degrees and then turn up the adjustment for the meat tray and the humidity up on the vegetables. let me know if this helps.

Char-broil water smoker


first, a charcoal fire in bottom tray, then a pan filled with hot (boiled) water above it, then the meat on top tray, then keep lid on a long time (hours) without peeking and remember to keep charcoal topped off. you should also soak hardwood hickory sticks in water for a day or 2 and wrap in aluminum foil with small holes punched through and place on top of charcoal to provide smoke. usually a large chicken is done in about 4 hours.
