SOURCE: The little red frog/lizard gets

It's hard to say without seeing it, but often the cause of a sticking component in a mechanical moving part is caused when the part in question becomes misaligned, like a sliding door that gets jammed when it's opened hard or lifted while opening.

One thing that often helps sliding components to move freely is applying a bit of chapstick. I have used Chapstick on slicing windows, drawers, bicycle cables and probably other things. The wax acts as a clean, non-oily lubricant that doesn't smell or stain. Use with discretion since this is a baby toy!

SOURCE: my fisher price aquarium bouncer need more water

We refilled the tank ourselves with the following equipment:
phillips screwdriver, flathead screwdriver, heat gun, glue gun (or epoxy), big sterile syringe, sterile water
1. remove toy bar so it’s no longer getting power
2. unscrew screws in the white part of the toy bar and open it up. Note the positions of the kick toys and buttons, which will probably fall out while you’re trying to refill the tank.
3. on the upper part of the tank, search for the plug for the hole for filling the tank. It’s sealed on with something like epoxy or hot glue
4. CAREFULLY blast the plug with heat gun until the sealant is soft enough that the plug can be pried off with flathead screwdriver
5. use the big syringe to top off the tank with more water.
We noticed that the old liquid in there made swirling patterns where it met the new water; we reckon that the old liquid might contain something like glycerin to make it more viscous, or preservatives to keep it from getting yucky
6. reseal the plug onto the tank with hot glue or epoxy… actually we lost the plug so we filled a small plastic button with hot glue and stuck that on… time will tell whether it does a good job sealing the water in
7. try out the toy bar in the seat and rejoice if it works!
8. take it out again and replace the buttons and kick toys (orange fish goes on the right hand side, from infant’s point of view. The fish face in, towards each other.) Close up the toy bar.
Hope that helps keep some of these excellent toys out of the landfill!

How do I install a Maxon MCB-30 in my pickup truck ? It has 2 wires a Black/Red & Red wire. The Black/Red wire is labeled Negative, The Red wire has a fuse on it.

It is very simple . Connect the black/red wire to chassis ground (the body of the truck). Then connect the red wire to your fuse box. The truck battery would be the best place to make connections as it acts as a filter to filter most engine noise that may occur. Connect the red wire to the positive side of the battery and the black/red wire to the negative side of the battery.

Replacing the Cmos battery on my asus note book M3000N model M3N

http://www.laptop-dvd-drivers.com/asus-m3n-laptop-motherboard-p-1549.html

Click on the left view, use your mouse cursor, and magnify the black object. (Maxell)
It has a Red wire, and a Black wire ending in a small White plug.

The black object is just a type of plastic bag, essentially. There is a CR2032 battery inside it. The small white plug coming from the battery's wires plugs into the motherboard.

The Left view is a view of the Bottom. The RTC battery is on the bottom of the motherboard.
So is the Processor.

[RTC = Real Time Clock. Newer nomenclature for the CMOS battery]

Another view of the RTC Battery,

Bottom of page. (Maxell CR2032WK)

No exact Service Manual. Use the following info to disassemble the laptop with. USE an ESD wrist strap, and connect it's alligator clip to a good ground source. Or you can use the laptop for an expensive paperweight.

I need to know how to wire the batteries together on my shoprider jimmie chair so they will charge

If the charger is 24 volts and you have 2 12 volt batteries they have to equal 24 volts , so wire the batteries terminals red to black and connect the charger to the other terminals red to red and black to black.

How to wire a toggle switch for non working horn

My suggestion ask that mechanic to do it for you on the side maybe and see how much he would charge if you don't know anything much about going under the hood that would be best, if not here goes. First find the horn make sure you can get to it there should be a connector or plug on it should being the key word. Find it and remove it, you will need a wire long enough to run from the horn around and through some place in the firewall next to the wall between the engine and inside and back out to the battery so make sure its long enough to do that as well make sure the wire is 2 different colors inside sometimes they come copper on one side and silver color on the other or you can find black and red coated wires an 18 gauge speaker wire should work 15 to 20 ft should be plenty tape the ends of the wires with 8 inches excess hanging to the battery one end and the other to the horn not connected just so it holds the wire while you run it to inside the car string the wire around under the hood so its not all over the engine but around it and not on anything that gets hot to melt it. Make sure you know when you run it inside which side of the bend (you will have to bend it to get it inside the cab) make sure you know which side was going to the battery and which to the horn when you have the wire inside the car cut the wire on the copper side or the red side but dont cut the black shave back the plastic on the cut wire so you can get to the bare wire on the toggle switch any kind with 2 connectors on it is ok or you can also get a push button kind so it works like the horn find the positive connector on it and negative connector, connect the side of the red/copper wire that is going to the battery to the positive side if it has no positive or neg it doesn't matter either side then. Now connect the other side of the spliced wire to the negative or other side of the switch. once this is done under the hood look for positive and negative on the horn strip wire ends so you can get to bare wire connect the red/copper to the pos. and black/silver to the neg. You can use connectors for this or you can twist the wires around the connectors like a twist tie and tape with black electrical tape not clear tape. then on the battery put the red to pos. and black to neg. I would splice off enough plastic coating to wrap wire around battery terminal connector not the post make sure you connect the pos. last and don't touch the neg wire to anything else. then test the horn if it is working unhook the pos. side of the wire on the battery until you get ready for inspection and when done remove this so you don't have battery drain or other problems. Good luck

I bought Utilitech #0141224 7 day digital in wall timer. I have just 2 wires at the junction box both of which are painted over but assume one could be black and other white. The 7 day digital timer...

If your box contains 2 and only 2 wires, then the Utilitec timer will not work.
You need the Intermatic ST01C or EJ500 timers that operate with a battery.

I have tested the Intermatic and Utilitec timers:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Program-wire-Utilitec-0141224.html
http://waterheatertimer.org/ST01C-program.html#wire
Do not connect white and red wires together on any timer, but thank you for solving the problem why lights blink when connecting timers.

Now lets look at your wires.
Scrape paint off the wires so you can identify white and black.
According to your information, the black wire inside box will connect to timer-black wire.
The red wire always goes to Load (your light, fan, motor)
The white wire is necessary to complete a circuit so the clock inside timer will operate.
The timer has a clock just like your alarm clock, and it needs to connect back to neutral busbar in breaker box.
This is why the battery-operated timers will work with two wires, the clock runs on battery.
The Utilitec timer-white wire is the wire that goes to Neutral
The timer-white wire is supposed to connect to the other white wires that are twisted together and covered with a wire nut ... but some boxes do not have this neutral wire
To work-around, the timer-white wire can also connect to a bare ground wire.
The bare ground wire also connects to Neutral busbar in breaker box

If you do not have a neutral or ground wire as described above, then you need the battery-powered ST01C or EJ500 Intermatic timers.
See if you can pull some more of the wire into your box ... there might be a ground wire that was cut off and pulling more wire might reveal a ground wire. This will salvage the project.
Aplus is one of many places that sell the Intermatic timer

Utilitech Wall Timer #0192773 does not switch landscape lights on? Replaced Intermatic that had 3 wires. Black to Black, blue to black and red was capped. Utilitech came with 4 wires - black, white,...

Old timer: Intermatic EJ500 & ST01C timers have a battery. Battery operates the clock motor. Red wire is for 3-way circuit [a hallway with 2 switches is a 3-way circuit].

Utilitec timer, clock runs on 120Volt circuit instead of battery. So clock has to have power.

How to connect wires:
Black timer wire connects to hot wire from breaker box.
Red (or blue) timer wire goes to landscape lights.
White timer wire connects to white neutral wire [or if no neutral is available, connect to bare ground wire].
Green timer wire goes to bare ground wire.

How to find black hot wire and white neutral wire inside box
: Disconnect and separate wires so you can test. Use ordinary tester. Power is on. There is only 1 black hot wire inside each electrical box. Test each black wire to bare ground until tester light comes on > that identifies the black hot wire. Next, test black hot wire to white wires until tester light comes on > that is the neutral wire. Exception: This test does not necessarily work with 3-way switches since they reverse each time switch is thrown.

Need pin out info for aqua vu 4 pin connector

I figured it out:

Here goes: There are 4 wires inside the Aqua Vu cable that runs to the underwater part of the cam.

Red = Hot or 12 volt power from battery postive (red) terminal

Black = Ground - ground to battery negative terminal

White= Video input (or center of video coax)

Green= Infrared lighting control, if you ground the green wire against the black/ground, you will see

that it switches ON the infrared or "Christmas" lights. Simply put a switch on the green wire after you ground it, so you can switch your IR's on and off.
