any generic replacement CMOS battery with the same specifications and size measurement as the original battery will do, I am not to familiar with the battery used on your laptop, for it may be installed with retaining clips, it may be soldered to the main board, or via sockets with wires, if you are not to savvy with electronics soldering , have someone who knows how , to do it for you. Reset cmos


Removing the CMOS battery for 15 mins will reset the CMOS.
The CMOS failure most likely is caused by a flay CMOS battery. replace the CMOS battery will fix this problem.
