How do i change the fan in a 55TL515U TV?

Get a can of air and spray it directly in the back grill - at the bottom. the fan is very small and may be caked with dust. That was the issue with mine and the pressured air cleaned it right out and the fan began running again. Try this before calling for service - you don't even have to take the back off.

The T con board or the LCD panel is faulty . You have to replace the TCON Board to confirm whether it was tcon or the LCD panel.

How do i turn off the speakers on my toshiba 55tl515


There is no way to disable the speakers on the 3DTV 55TL515U, I would just turn the volume all the way down on the TV. If you are using the opticla output this should not be affected. If not than you have no worries anyways. Mute or Volume Down.

Picture freezes


Usually not the set causing this----a lot of times if a cable or sat box is being used it will act up and the signal will trigger the set to do odd things---only way to know is unplug set and box if used for a while and plug back---set not responding to the remote indicates a confused microprocessor.
