i have just bought both the Samsung HTC-555 and the wireless module SWA-5000. I had the system setup accordingly and on doing the speaker test, all 6 speaker received the signal from the amp. This should mean that the system in working ok. However on watching a blu-ray movie recorded in DD5.1 channel on my PSP3, the rear speaker do not seem to have an output coming. Only the front and the woofer speaker are providing the sound! Any Input....
THe rear speakers are usually for the surround sound experience. What kind of movies do you watch? Usually the action movies have a lot of surround sound, calm movies not so much. And for the music, the same thing applies. Atleast for my system.
The wireless rear speakers aren't wireless per se. They have to be connected to a receiver box and it's that box that brings in the system's wireless transmissions, eliminating in this way any cable runs from the front of the room to the back.
I have finally got my rear speakers to work. wireless internet or cordless phones will stop the speakers from working, i switched off my wireless internet and hey presto speakers work fine, i just cant have both at the same time.
