Hello Tonia. !
most of the time the BIOS password is blank or on some motherboard usualy brand name pc's have there own preseted password which is admin.
But dont be desperate there is another solution make a quick search on Google for resetting BIOS with your motherboard name or model and you will find where on your motherboard are Located the two pins that you will have to jump un order to reset your bios without having to type a password....

How do i clear all forgotten passwords ,including dell security manager authentication password (bios)

with the power off and unplugged disconnect the hard drive for the computer. now reboot and go into the bios and try to clear the password. If it is stall asking for a password with the hard drive disconnected then clear the bios password by the jumper on the motherboard. for the cmos reset. If that does not clear it. remove the button battery and wait 5 minutes and reinsert battery and try again.

you also may have a hdd password if you do then re-post for directions on how to remove hdd passwords. Good Luck.

Laptop asking to insert media boot disc and not got one

First - re-seat the hard disk and reboot the computer. If the computer does not boot up then reboot and go into the BIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drive. If it doesn't detect the hard drive then it could be faulty.
Then the hard drive needs to be replaced in the computer/laptop, Windows installed and the computer or laptop's device drivers plus your programs etc. to get a functioning computer/laptop again.

** I have downloaded this file myself from the link above and scanned it with microsoft one care, it came up clean **

Some Toshiba's can be convinced to bypass the startup BIOS password if you hold down the <LEFT-SHIFT> key while booting the system.
