Question about Intel D845GLLY Motherboard
Hey recently i installed windows vista but i could not able to find video driver for vista. Please help me........
Believe it or not...
XP drivers often work in Vista. Much as the Windows 2000 drivers worked in XP.
Go ahead and try the XP driver. Make sure you create a restore point before you do...just in case.
I have used this very driver in Vista for two of my own systems myself, so I know that they work properly. Let's hope they work the same for you.
You may have to do a manual installation of the hardware rather than using the setup.exe. Use Device Manager. Find the device. Select "Update Driver" and point Windows to the .INF file for the driver.
To be honest... Vista should already have drivers for this video chipset. The only problem is that it might not let you select the maximum color depth or resolution until you install the Intel driver. :P
Good luck. Don't forget a restore point!
