I'm not sure what you mean by a contaminant but taking question at face value
from the inside of inlet hose
from crockery or cutlery
from inside of dishwasher
from seals
from filters
etc etc

If you keep the inside clean and every so often (3-6 months for example) wipe around seals with mild bleach and then use a dishwasher cleaner you should be ok.
If it is any consolation drying towel is probably worse!

Is rain water safe to drink?

Rain passes through the atmosphere before falling to the ground. So it can pick up any contaminant present in the atmosphere.

It's not a great idea to drink rain water falling near chemical plants or near the plumes of power plants, paper mills, etc. Don't drink rainwater that has run off of plants or buildings because you could pick up toxic chemicals from these surfaces. Similarly, don't collect rainwater from puddles or into dirty containers.

NEED TO KNOW HOW TO GET ICEMAKER OUT TO EMPTY IT

TURN OFF YOUR CAPS LOCK!!!!
Why on earth do you think the ice is "contaminated"?
The power outage would have to be days long to do something like that. The ice has to melt and the water has to become warm enough to grow bacteria or mold in a freezer full of frozen items.
If you just let it cycle through, it'll push out the "bad" ice cubes and you can just toss them out. The next ones will be made with fresh water.

Why is my maytag 2000 washing machine leaking from underneath when it is only 2-1/2 years old

You need to establish the area that you have seen the water pooling and trace it back if possible.Make sure you disconnect the machine from the power point before you conduct these checks. Is the water clean, dirty or oil contaminated. if you can't determine exactly where the leak is coming from try placing a chux cloth around a hose with a cable tie before a wash then check it on the completion of the cycle - make sure the chux cloth does not effect the operation of the machine.

Overheating indicator flashes, but has oil, water.

Hi. The contacts in the Coolant bottle get contaminated and then don't pick up the water level. Brige the contacts at the water botlle and start the car, if the coolant/temp light behaves for 5 min or so after starting the car, then change the coolant bottle/resevoir.

Water damage

If this was salt watercor contaminated water, then the only chance is to immediately remove the battery and rinse the Phone several times in clean pure water to remove the conductive salt / contaminated water. Then leave it to dry out in the sun or in a warm place for a few hours until all the residual moisture evaporates & drys out. With any luck the phone will turn on and work. If it was left with salt water or contaminated water for a long period before rinsing this may lead to permanent internal damage.

I get terrible mileage full tank all the way down to 1/4 left. (Around 10mpg) but then I get great mileage last 1/4. I have an 04 hyundai xg350l

You more than likely have something in your gas tank that is contaminating the fuel, such as water. When you get below 1/4 tank, you are pulling up what is normally out of range. I would go to your local parts store and pick out something that will dry the water HEET, and something that will clean your fuel system (perhaps something that can do both). Depending on the store, you should find highly knowlegable people there that can help you pick something that will help. After you have done that, replace your fuel filter, as these contaminants can also clog the filter (they should be changed every 10,000miles but hardly gets done).

Tablet not desolving after quick wash cycle

Find out whether your quick cycle is a wash cycle or a rinse only. If it is a wash it's obviously too short, and the tablet is not dissolving. You do not want undissolved tablets because they will contaminate your rinse water and u end up with soap on the dishes. You can switch to powder if a tablet isn't going to dissolve quick enough on your quick cycle.

Nautilis ge dishwasher does not pump all water out aT THE END.

the fill valve may be contaminated with debris that makes it heavier so it floats lower in the water and tells the unit the water is gone when it's not.
