You can wipe it as for removing code that is not going to be possible, to reset to manufacturer settings there is a pin hole on the back push this with a pin in the hole and turn on the unit this will reset to manufacturer settings, you may still have all your stuff on there but the settings will be back to new and you will need to set them back up after.
