Husqvarna pole chain saw 326 p5x - grinding noise and chain does not rotate - what needs adjustment?

Take chain off, look for bent or broken teeth. Check chain grove, look for broken or embedded pieces, clean and oil well. If not, it's motor problem

Yes the 326LS is an e-tech strimmer, Fuel to oil mix ratio is 50:1

50 parts fuel to 1 part oil.

The only reason for a brush cutter to over heat is because the engine is running too lean, this may be because the fuel filter is blocked, or the fuel hose is leaking, or the carb is set to lean on the carb mixture screws,

I think they would, they have the same drive shafts
