My roc8507 wont pair sitt my bluray Philips player, ive tried every metod and code

To pair a Samsung remote model AK5900104R2A with a Philips DVD player model 714821 2001, you will need to first locate the Philips DVD player's remote code. You can find this code in the instruction manual, or by contacting Philips customer service. Once you have the code, press the "Setup" button on the Samsung remote and enter the Philips DVD player's remote code. If the code is accepted, the Samsung remote should now be paired with the Philips DVD player.

If you go onto the Philips website it may give you the codes you are looking for failing that I would go onto the big easy website to see if they have the code you want for the bluray player

Try a different remote such as one for your bluray player to isolate if tv or remote

Did this to my philips BDP3200 blu-ray player and it plays region 1 dvd's, waiting on region 1 blu-ray to come to test blu-ray.
It still plays region 2 blu-rays after doing this.

Do this to change to it to region 0 so it can play any region.

1.Power on with no disc in tray
2.Press HOME
3.Enter 1389310

To check the current region

1.Power on with no disc inside
2.Press HOME
3.Enter 8520

The design age of the Cox remote is probably many years older than the Philips player so there may not be any codes which apply to the BluRay player. Check the Cox website for the latest code listings.
